After watching the first season of Fargo I instantly knew I wanted to create a tribute to the show and its characters. Lorne Malvo happened to be my favorite and frankly my favorite TV villain of all time. The show was so well written and well paced, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I can't wait to work on more of its characters. I hope you enjoy the one!

Lorne Malvo is very similar to Anton Chighur and Jodge Holden, he is a human yet he embodies something more, like an actual concept.
His presence almost feel like supernatural.
Lorne Malvo has got to be one of the greatest characters and villains that will ever exist. Worthy tribute🔥
Absolutely stellar cut. Fargo season 1 was a masterpiece, great tribute to one of the most sinister villains in storytelling.

I personally tend to favor Lorne Malvo but all of the characters mentioned above have the most evil criteria in cinema for me.
* I excluded anime characters from this list though some of them have really high levels of evil in them I.e (griffith, silver, light yagami, naraku…etc)

Malvo keeps these tapes, not because his job is to kill or even to make money in the first place. He’s the great judge of all humanity. He constantly wants to remind us all that we’re just a few chromosomes away from our primate ancestors. And in turn, he constantly needs to listen to these tapes to remind himself the same on his grand mission.
Nah, I think he just listens to these tapes because for him listening to them is like listening to classical music (or basically any music).
It's not that complicated. He is a sadistic psychopath. He loves listening to people's misery.
@@raymondreaper2554 I mean, I definitely agree with you that he is indeed a sadistic psychopath. But there’s also definitely an intention on why he’s written this way. You especially see it whenever he talks about animals or evolution to people. Like when he asks Grimly why humans can see more shades of green than any other color. The answer he was looking for is that humans are natural predators who come from the jungle. And predators in a mostly green environment like a jungle need to differentiate colors to better find the prey hiding from them. He’s basically always trying to make a point about how close we really are to our animal ancestors.

Fargo Season 1 and True Detective Season 1 were released in the same year around the same time and we were so blessed,we will never reach those heights again
I hated Lester far more than I could ever hate Malvo. Malvo was an assassin so it was expected. But Lester was cold and cruel beyond forgiveness. He heartlessly sacrificed his second wife Linda right after she told him her life story. It was the only death from any movie or show that I really felt sad for in my bones - still do. That said, some of the Malvo aura and scenes were just chilling. His cop stop is just a masterpiece.

This was outstanding editing,the way you conveyed his character was perfect.The music and quotes you chose made this so dark and chilling really helped bring him to life.I really loved the fact you showed him using the tapes and ending it with lester confession was brilliant.Im so glad you decided to finish this masterpiece 💙

@@BUckENbooz i think what makes Lorne Malvo scarier to me is that he can pretend that he is a normal guy average person he is very smart and manipulative he hides his evil personality very well and he is very sadistic that he clearly enjoys killing people and the show creator said that Malvo has goal to turn civilized people into monsters but anyway i think both of them are very scary in their own way

anton is scary because hes pure psychopathy. scary look, weird hair. antisocial.
lorne is scary because hes so puny and amicable und unsus. until he isnt anymore.
both of them, when triggered, are basically unstoppable. anton, because he feels "bothered" and therefore considers anyone involving "accountable". lorne, because he's just thorough and likes to make a point that there are consequences to your wishes or actions. "lester....is this really what you want?"
Anton Chigurh + Lorne Malvo = one in the same.

I just Finished watching season one.
When Malvo made the 'Garden of Eden' joke i literally thought his the devil for a second.
Even the timing of him leaving that retournant just the moment the cop arrived felt just too perfect to be a coincidence. The man reminds of Johan.
The way they sent him out tho was ridiculous. They made him make a mistake that contradicts his character, that he himself would never do in those circumstances just for him to get injured so some irrelevant character deal the final blow.
Idk if season 2 will ever introduce such an interesting antagonist after him.

I never quite understood what he was doing until he said "last time I had pie like this was in the garden of eden" in that one episode. I think he believes he's the devil, the snake that manipulates Adam and eve to sin. Which is why he keeps those tapes, a record of all the people he's manipulated into sinning.

For me Hanzee Dent became Lorne Malvo and not a fat mob boss. Both are skilled killers with a nihilistic philosophy. For me, the indigenous assassin has become an older and more annihilating agent of chaos than before.

Nice tribute, but the music is way to loud … you can't really hear what is being said at points, let alone you can appreciate the voices. However the music gives a good momentum and is catching, but it's annoyingly loud ;P.
