I read somewhere that when all these virtuoso performers get together (like Henry, Suhyun, Lee Hi, etc) and hear So Hyang's voice, they say it is almost mystical sharing the same space and hearing her sound. I believe that same thing from hearing her on UA-cam! Like you said, her voice just stands out, and all those performers are absolutely incredible! Great reaction!

Man, it is so entertaining to see you defend your initial assessment about Sohyang's rapping. Was chuckling along as you commented. However, you are a fair man after all. Also agree with your statement that Sohyang just stands out. Her vocal precision, resonance, clarity and inherent power just cannot be denied.
BTW, you have the wisdom to observe that Sohyang created something new here different from traditional rap. If you look back in her past performances, Sohyang consistently brings in new elements to her cover of a song.

She is a shy, humble, generous, kind, and spiritual person with a charming personality who is always stunningly beautiful with innocent eyes, a little-girl voice, a lilting laugh, and a smile that melts the hardest heart. @@tomsawyer2768 Thanks Tom. I find that I get long-winded every time I begin to write a Comment after her performance videos. People are often amazed and I want them to know her as I do. The reactors usually love the information. But, it does seem to put some folks off when we gush about her - but I don't care. I do it for all of those that love that lady as we do. On top of all of that, one can look high and low and not find a finer person than Sohyang.

It seems that she is brave all the time because she feels herself to be with the lord while grabbing the mic.
Of course these guys do their rehearsals (there are YT videos of this)... But the level of trust between them all during the actual performance to allow each of them to shine in their own way.... it's what live performance is about (at least for me). Sohyang has the freedom to what she does in this song because of the foundation the others provide both through their vocals and supporting each other.

I consider it actually good rapping.. of which there is very little these days.
So Hyang is very much like Mori, just don't sing next to her. Just f##kin' don't. Either she gonna make you look stupid and amateurish or she gonna have to hold back. In either case it's not good for you or your career.
