Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot are becoming metropolitan cities in their own right. For 50 years since independence, there were just 4 filthy, dirty metro cities. Now Gujarat alone has 4 metro cities. A big change. If only India had proper governance since independence, the country would have been in very good shape.

I love vadodara due to it's lovely peaceful educated helpful well understanding people it's completely different from greedy ahmedabad people, money minded surat people and mawa guthka eater rajkot people. Baroda is completely different. Most of the highly educated Gujarati people are from Baroda only. And Baroda only have some hitech companies now ahmedabad and gandhinagar also going to have some engineering based high tech companies.

Hi, started from Gorwa Road, Genda circle to Appolo circle ( Golden quadrilateral Expressway), Via Sayaji road , VIP road , new VIP road and finally Ajwa Road
Nice to see my hometown developing but still I wonder why there arent any sidwalks being built... and roads are garbage, also where are traffic lights? No speed limit signs or lane markers... its missing a lot of things. Needs to be design better. This is not worthy of praise for 21st century. Where we have futuristic cities, compare them to this is like comparing walmart with gucci.

If we want to be like China, USA, with nice and beautiful cities then we must update our cities and build them fully planned
