Nice, but the only thing that I don’t like is no half bath, I can’t imagine trying to sleep in your bedroom and your friends or family members walking in and out, might be hard to sleep.
So much to love here!!! Unlike some, we prefer having the two sofas in the living room. Such a great space for hanging out! We also prefer the raised kitchen because it means more outdoor storage. And the decor / colors are gorgeous! My only issues with this are: 1) Having to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. I would never own this unit for this reason, unless they added a half bath (but obviously there’s no where to put that) or reversed the bedroom and bathroom so the bath is between the bedroom and living room. 2) It wouldn’t be a deal breaker, and I understand their reasoning , but I desperately want a second slide in that kitchen. While rare, others do offer it and it makes the kitchen HUGE and allows for an island. I understand many trucks couldn’t pull it with the extra tongue weight but I’d overlook a LOT of issues with a unit for the perfect kitchen. Even if the issue is us having to buy a new truck! 😂
Hey Myles I hope that you're having a great day! I like the full paint on that Montana Legacy but the back leveling jacks need to be further back in my opinion an not that close to the back tires.
I absolutely LOVE Montana Keystone. They make the BEST home style RV’s. Hands Down. They separate the dining the the bedroom. Only the higher priced custom Rv dealers will do that!
Absolutely love this layout!! I would remove the first sofa you showed (on your left when facing the tv) and put in an office setup. Then everything would be perfect 👍🏻
I think it might drive me nuts to have that refrigerator sticking out so far! Also, a 40+ foot fifth wheel and no dinning room table. I don’t think the seating at the bar is enough. With that said, I do love the way you show the RVs. I enjoy your videos.
I know these RVS, 5th wheels and travel trailers are always coming up with new designs, innovations, but how do you respond to the quality and builds of recent models, Since the pandemic started in 2020 I’ve heard nothing but problems with all models and designs. Just curious on how you respond?
I really like this layout, but just a few things could be switched out. Replace one set of recliners with a Dinette table. I love the Kitchen! It feels more Homey to me. … except that weird little step up in front of the sink. What is that?? Only add one window, instead of two. Not one next to the refrigerator. You could add a small cart/end table and make it a Coffee Bar. You could also hang decor on the wall where they want to add a window. Or make that space a message board with a calendar, Emergency numbers, etc. So Homey 😊😍 I think this is perfect for a couple. And it has room for visitors. I could Live in it 😊
I like the older front kitchen layout better than this one. I really don’t care for the weird step or bump out in front of the sink space. Seems like it would be awkward to use the sink and counter in that space.
Montana is a very nice rig for sure. I love the basement storage, need that if you're full timing. I love the rear bath location and the front kitchen location. I very nice set up I think. Thanks for showing.
I would have loved if they had either extended the slideout with the couch or moved it toward the kitchen so they could put the sectional sofa from the 3531RE in that living room.
And those recliners break down immediately. And the furnace. And the eink isñts stainlèss, its cheap metal coated plastic! Rusted before we took owńershìp. Oven didn't work, untiĺ we got fixed. Fridge didn't close. Doors on storage didnt lock. The list goes on. Warped cabinets, plumbing.?
Draw back there is no half bathroom. Since your guest have to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Draw back with two couches out for sleeping that hard to leave the bedroom for a late nighttime snack or a drink.
This is a good start. Changes that I would make, THE CABINETS! There are so many, but they are cheaply done. They don’t look any different (except the color) from my old 2006 5th wheel. They could add some functionality, pull out shelves in the large cabinets. Yes, tons of storage but for 140k they can do better.🥴 The refrigerator is odd, sticking out like that would be a toe stubber for sure! And that empty space would be better used for additional dining, put the window in and continue with a bar top, extra seating or counter space. Love your videos Myles! I’m selling my 4 bedroom home and DOWNSIZING big time so I’m looking for something that would be my home on wheels! Because of your videos it allows me to “shop” and learn what I like & dislike.🙂
So the 5th wheels are looking great! Issue is, their pricing is absurd. They kept this pricing from COVID and just thought it would be the standard pricing. It isn't, it needs to fall and fall hard. There is 45k RV's back in 2019 that are priced at 80 or 90 k today. That is ridiculous. Eventually, the consumer will just say no.
I hear you, but unfortunately the value of the products we buy didn’t change, the value of our dollar changed. No amount of complaining about prices are going to cause them to drop because it’s not the value of things that increased, it’s because our dollar is now worth less in value, thus taking more dollars to buy the same things. And that’s not the manufactures fault, or dealerships fault. Even with the prices of RVs today, the industry as a whole is struggling because it’s hard to make any sort of profit to sell these for less. So to advocate for 2019 prices with our dollar not being what it was worth in 2019 any longer is really asking to eradicate the industry as a whole because no one in the industry would survive. Or they would have to create significantly less expensive, lower quality products.
I don't like double sinks. I think it is a waste of counter space. Some people like them, so I can understand it when there is plenty of room for both sinks. In this unit I don't think that is the case. It would be fine with one off-center sink allowing for great counter space for shaving, make-up, etc. Other than that, it's a nice unit.
Is there a coat closet or shoe storage at the entry? I didn't see one. Also, I would get rid of the 3rd couch and put in a table and chairs. Some people still do traditional meals. I'm not a fan of eating at a bar.
I have a 2020 3740 front kitchen. They should have updated some of the fixtures and colors and left the front kitchen layout alone. I don't get the purpose of having a large front cap window that you need to be standing in front of the sink to look out. On the 3740 the u- shaped table is in front of the window so you can be eating or just having coffee and look out at the view.
Every year in Sept (when this was filmed) there is an event called “Open House” that is an industry event for people within the RV space to come see all the new RVs coming out for the year. The RVs at this event aren’t for sale, they are simply on display, and there is no pricing displayed anywhere. In addition to that, it’s often the first time these RVs are being seen publicly so there’s no pricing info online yet either. That was the case in this video and is also the case in any videos I film at this event every year. Other than that, any video I film at an RV show or at a dealership will always have the price in the video. I do my best to always share pricing with the information I have to work with.
I prefer open concept. Too many steps. We had a front living room 5th wheel and raised bedroom and bathroom at the back. We were up and down stairs all the time.
The stove needs a range hood. It would not be the hard to install. The motorhomes and trailers that have them in the slides even have them. Most of the front kitchen fifth wheels I've seen do not have them.
As nice as it looks all cleaned up. I'm not a fan of the dark paint jobs. They show every speck of dirt, and dark colors just soak up the hot sun making it hotter inside.
Uggg, floor vents. I'd rather have them in areas where dirt, lego's etc can't go in there. The tall cabinet by the stove. I'd rather have an upper and lower so the stove isn't so cramped and adds more counter space. My favorite front kitchen model is the brown wood (not the white cabinets) Riverstone Legacy 391FSK. I like the tray mount to the 2022 model above the center stove.
70% of your total weight is tied up in kitchen goods pots and pans. That could easily add 750lbs to the bed weight in the truck. Not good. Most of the weight should be over the trailer axles
Another fail. No shelf in the shower for soaps and shampoos. They should put a pantry or cabinet next to the fridge, not a window. That step infront of the kitchen sink would get really annoying really fast. No drawer pullout in the rear basement.
That was my complaint as well. If there are people sleeping in the living room at night, they are going to have to traipse through the bedroom to use the toilet and disturb those who are in the bedroom sleeping.
Not a Montana hater by any means, but man for this to be their reentry into the front kitchen scene, this seems like a flop. Specifically the lack of opposing slides in the kitchen. Nearly every other brand that offers a front kitchen 5th wheel does opposing slides, and Montana's choice to only do one leaves the kitchen feeling awkward, and quiet honestly cramped. If this was a mid tier brand, the weight concerns would make sense. But we're talking about a brand where their customers could most likely upgrade trucks without a second thought.
I like that he admitted it. Too many UA-camrs do the click bait and they almost always disappoint. Give Myles a break, at least he admitted it up front.
Thank you for watching! Let me know you think and click here to subscribe to FIRMLY UNBOUND: youtube.com/@FirmlyUnbound
I just read your description of "Firmly Unbound". So thrilled to read of your relationship with Jesus Christ.
🙏🙌
Nice, but the only thing that I don’t like is no half bath, I can’t imagine trying to sleep in your bedroom and your friends or family members walking in and out, might be hard to sleep.
I was thinking the exact same thing!!!
Very nice floor plan. As always nice job showing the unit. It is nice to know that you are a God fearing man.

I like the idea of the black exterior. Hopefully it would keep those good awful streaks from happening.
Thanks!
i personally wish they wouldn't add the 2 extra windows in it. i like the plain wall space.
Hey Myles I hope that you're having a great day! I like the full paint on that Montana Legacy but the back leveling jacks need to be further back in my opinion an not that close to the back tires.
Can it come with 12 volt fridge? I wish manufacturers would cut out the dual vanities. Seems a waste of space 🤷
I absolutely LOVE Montana Keystone. They make the BEST home style RV’s. Hands Down. They separate the dining the the bedroom. Only the higher priced custom Rv dealers will do that!
They’re absolutely ripping people off. $19k for 1300 watts of solar 😂
Absolutely love this layout!! I would remove the first sofa you showed (on your left when facing the tv) and put in an office setup. Then everything would be perfect 👍🏻
Agree up to the step in front of the kitchen sink, trip/fall hazard ☹️

You can probably switch out one of the Recliner sets for a Dining table.
Same with the Fridge. Find one YOU love. 😉👍🏽

The step up sink is for the plumbing

Agree, that's what I commented on too.
I agree. I’m vertically challenged and the 4-6” platform in front of the sink would mean leaning awkwardly just to wash dishes.
Deal killer.
Finally someone has the floorplan i want. thanks for sharing the info
I really love the layout and cabinets! I do agree it needs two more windows! I do love the paint job better on the other Montana!
Montana is a very nice rig for sure. I love the basement storage, need that if you're full timing. I love the rear bath location and the front kitchen location. I very nice set up I think. Thanks for showing.

Are upholstered couches available instead of pleather? Dishwasher option?

Hey, it finally happened. A clickbait video I am NOT mad or upset about. 😂🤣😂
Draw back there is no half bathroom. Since your guest have to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Draw back with two couches out for sleeping that hard to leave the bedroom for a late nighttime snack or a drink.
I like it W/O THE WINDOW BY WORK STATION
Gorgeous paint option!!!
Love the Firmly Unbound videos.

Thank you you are the best rv reviewer keep up with the work 👍
Big ouch, the way that sink area is setback and elevated is a big deal breaker for me. That's going to cause so much unneeded back pain.
We saw one at an RV show that had the kitchen in the...raised area (what is that called?) It felt huge! We really liked that "true" front kitchen...
So the 5th wheels are looking great! Issue is, their pricing is absurd. They kept this pricing from COVID and just thought it would be the standard pricing. It isn't, it needs to fall and fall hard. They need to start putting dishwashers in these kitchens
Love it. I like the front kitchen. And we hate the both dinette so i like the extra chairs
Doesn't have a half bath, don't like having to go through master bedroom to use bathroom
I noticed that too. Ugh.
Gorgeous
Dishwasher prep?
The area in the kitchen where they're going to put a window. Why not put more cabinets instead?
Great idea
I love this

I agree. Plus instead of windows by the bed I’d rather have nitestands plus would cut down on cold drafts at bed
I see a trip/fall hazard with the step in front of the sink, yikes!
Love this one ❤
I would like to see the other floor plans for this RV please.
Is there a coat closet or shoe storage at the entry? I didn't see one. Also, I would get rid of the 3rd couch and put in a table and chairs. Some people still do traditional meals. I'm not a fan of eating at a bar.
Myles it doesnt matter what type of package you have if its black its going to be hotter,.
Yet the majority of people have dark colored roofs on their houses and drive non white cars.
Is ok. The floor vents on the floor are an issue.
I have a 2020 3740 front kitchen. They should have updated some of the fixtures and colors and left the front kitchen layout alone. On the 3740 the u- shaped table is in front of the window so you can be eating or just having coffee and look out at the view.
That’s a big kitchen
Have you done a video on the Montana 3915TB?
Get rid of one of those sofas and put in a dinette table.
I agree! Maybe even a bar looking outside for eating.
Yes! 👍🏽
@@kathykeene2092 I Second THAT! 👍🏽😍
You could even do BOTH! 😃👍🏽
Seating for 6-8 🤔 Great for the grandkids!
This is probably the worst layouts I've seen what a huge amount of wasted space and opportunity
I’d rather see that bank of cabnits made into a broom / vacuum closet with an outlet
Its beautiful, but, that black will cook you in lower climates! You'll also need 1 more AC to offset that heat!!!!
It's nice, but there's only one washroom. 👍🤗👍
Love the videos but would love if you could tell us the listed price of these trailers! Thank you

Wish Brinkley do front K
lol at least you are honest ha
What is the height in the kitchen. I am 6’8 and curious if I could stand completely straight up int here.
How about showing a front.living, rear bath and bed room.
I prefer open concept. Too many steps. We had a front living room 5th wheel and raised bedroom and bathroom at the back. We were up and down stairs all the time.
Could the refrigerator and oven be swapped?
The stove needs a range hood. It would not be the hard to install. The motorhomes and trailers that have them in the slides even have them. Most of the front kitchen fifth wheels I've seen do not have them.
It's not really open and roaming.I've seen others with open and rome but is still not bad
As nice as it looks all cleaned up. I'm not a fan of the dark paint jobs. They show every speck of dirt, and dark colors just soak up the hot sun making it hotter inside.
🎉
Don’t add a widow next to the refrigerator
Two issues. At this price point there should be a dishwasher. Also there are no nightstands. Riverstone and Luxe do a awesome front kitchen
I agree. Riverstone and Luxe are also about $50k+ more than a Montana
I'd prefer the stove be centered in the middle of the counter
Uggg, floor vents. I'd rather have them in areas where dirt, lego's etc can't go in there. The tall cabinet by the stove. I'd rather have an upper and lower so the stove isn't so cramped and adds more counter space. My favorite front kitchen model is the brown wood (not the white cabinets) Riverstone Legacy 391FSK. All that uphostery strips, and that particuĺar fabric is not covered by warranty. Know by experience.
All these mass produced rv’s are total trash made with the cheapest materials on the planet with horrible shitty craftsmanship and little to no QC.
There’s no need for two sinks in the bathroom
Should have been tri axles. Really pushing the limit on the tandems…
70% of your total weight is tied up in kitchen goods pots and pans. That could easily add 750lbs to the bed weight in the truck. Not good. Most of the weight should be over the trailer axles
That's a bad place to put the washer dryer. What if I want to go to sleep and do laundry?
Nice floorplan. Too plain. Needs backsplash. Too much white. Thanks for the walk through
Not too crazy about clickbait mr
2nd to comment 🙌
Nice 🙌
Floor vents look like warts on an ass, real high end units don’t have those ruining a floors ascetics.
I like your hair better longer 😊
Another fail. No shelf in the shower for soaps and shampoos. They should put a pantry or cabinet next to the fridge, not a window. That step infront of the kitchen sink would get really annoying really fast. No drawer pullout in the rear basement.
Seems crowded of there were guests and only one bathroom going through the master which would decrease privacy. Looks really nice otherwise.
That was my complaint as well. If there are people sleeping in the living room at night, they are going to have to traipse through the bedroom to use the toilet and disturb those who are in the bedroom sleeping.
How tall are you today?
@@jaekastpropertiesllc4886 I’m always 6’1 without shoes, and 6’2 with shoes. Maybe closer to 6’3 in the rare instances I’m showing an RV in boots.

I don't like this layout. It’s best to wash and cook in the same direction, otherwise they’ll be running around and it’ll be chaotic.
It's best to be in a triangle
I want the Montana randrv dealorship web site address
Not for me, don't like the idea of some walking into master bedroom to use bathroom
Not a fan of this camper at all
Terrible floor plan!
What’s your favorite floor plan that you have seen?
$19k to add 1300 watts of solar? Gtfoh! What an absolute ripoff 😂
Lame kitchen good placmwnt
Click bait, not cool. Unsubscribing!
Okay 😂
I like that he admitted it. Too many UA-camrs do the click bait and they almost always disappoint. Give Myles a break, at least he admitted it up front.
He admitted it right away.
Here’s a forgiveness lesson 😉👍🏽
