More damage if I assigned the right arts. Only the first few hits of the union finisher are affected by power charge & Rex already hits the damage cap, so It's better to go for 3 hits instead of Matthew's 1.
Any of them, the super bosses have both a pre-set and a random chance loot table. Some items you can only get from pure chance like the rare versions of Hellfire & Rage Amulets.
Imo chains in future redeemed are way more fun to watch due to the variety in abilities

Random drop from superbosses, they can be replaced with Warped Crystals from Gotthard the Ethereal.
