During the festival, he was putting himself between him and like fifty other people and saying "I'm trying to protect you but you're not making it easy." Wilbur was another person who respected his wishes and didn't treat him like a weapon, and Techno clearly responded well to that. With Ghostbur, it's more difficult since we haven't seen them interact much, but I think Techno definitely views Ghostbur as a lesser Wilbur, considering he doesn't remember 'anarchy bros'
I doubt techno sees ghostbur as a lesser Wilbur. Wilbur says he remembers sparring with techno as kids, showing they had a relationship of some sort as kids. I’m guessing a family relationship from how sleepyboisinc is kind of canon in the dream smp

This is gorgeous! Your lineart has such nice weight and line variation, and your colors are stunning. I love the way you build up your colors in stages and aren’t afraid to use a lot of different colors in your shading. Mixing oranges and blues gives the piece more depth. I did notice that you forgot to color one of the tusks on Techno’s mask, but that doesn’t do much to weaken the overall result. It’s a great piece and I’m excited to see more of what you do.

honestly though the current lore or at least the lore accepted is techno being Phil's son it feels much better to make him something more like Phil's brother at arms and i feel that with the amount of stuff in the lore about him he can safely transition into that position with out any conflicts with the established events

I have this headcanon of technoblade where he and Wilbur were twins and Wilbur was kinda the most loved by everyone else due to techno getting cursed by a witch when he was younger to resemble a pig. As Techno grew older, he was only hated more by everyone but his family of Phil, Wilbur and Tommy but it wasn't enough as every day he was getting sent further and further over the edge where he became the anarchist pig we see him now in Dream SMP. As he feels Tommy turn on him and as Wilbur dies, he is only left with Phil. The man who tried everything in his power as a mere wanderer to help his son and regrets so much of Techno's youth, he stands with his son and tries to replace the memories lost when he tried to simply focus on his other two 'normal' sons.
I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this speedpaint. The quote, the music choice, Techno's little smile, the way his ears are perked so you can tell he's intently listening to whatever Phil is saying, Phil's *laughing face*, oh god I'm SOFT! And that's not even to get into the artistry! Your colors are masterful and your design for them continues to kill me. there are very very few things i would kill and/or die for, but an art style as gorgeous, consistent, vibrant and lovely as yours is definitely in the top 3 :plead: keep it up!! this is so pretty!!
People came to Techno’s stream expecting the anarchy and the bloodshed, instead they got a doze of wholesomeness and FEELS- “I’d given up my violent ways. I can maybe start a farm here.” “people can repeat their mistakes all they like, it seems like I can’t stop them.” Tommy is the overemotional anime protagonist that just REFUSES to solve issues easily and understand ppl, Techno is one who seems like a side character with how sparingly he appears on Tommy’s streams, but then you nearly cry when discover all the OVA episodes from his perspective... He was right all along, and he had the power over people... But people got the messages wrong, and now they’re repeating their mistakes. The Blade was a weapon to most, but he was just tired, of no one getting his message, of everyone using him, of cleaning after Tommy’s mistakes so repeatedly... He was done, he’d rather live in peace, as he watches everyone repeat their mistakes, since no one had learned from their mistakes. And the only one who seemed to be keen on helping him with that, the one who’d seen the massacres firsthand and still saw him as person, Philza... It meant a lot to him. Okay no one’s reading this, but I’m a starved writer, and Twitter gives me barely enough space. My only job here is to drag anyone who reads this into THE CAPITALIZED WORD OF *FEELS*. This is gorgeous! Your lineart has such nice weight and line variation, and your colors are stunning. I love the way you build up your colors in stages and aren’t afraid to use a lot of different colors in your shading. Mixing oranges and blues gives the piece more depth. I did notice that you forgot to color one of the tusks on Techno’s mask, but that doesn’t do much to weaken the overall result. It’s a great piece and I’m excited to see more of what you do.

honestly though the current lore or at least the lore accepted is techno being Phil's son it feels much better to make him something more like Phil's brother at arms and i feel that with the amount of stuff in the lore about him he can safely transition into that position with out any conflicts with the established events
technos last stream made me so sad because he said phil was his only friend and the only one you understood him and techno said he would do anything to help phil- it almost made me cry ngl

I CANT THIS IS SO PERFECT
I have this headcanon of technoblade where he and Wilbur were twins and Wilbur was kinda the most loved by everyone else due to techno getting cursed by a witch when he was younger to resemble a pig. As Techno grew older, he was only hated more by everyone but his family of Phil, Wilbur and Tommy but it wasn't enough as every day he was getting sent further and further over the edge where he became the anarchist pig we see him now in Dream SMP. As he feels Tommy turn on him and as Wilbur dies, he is only left with Phil. The man who tried everything in his power as a mere wanderer to help his son and regrets so much of Techno's youth, he stands with his son and tries to replace the memories lost when he tried to simply focus on his other two 'normal' sons.
I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this speedpaint. The quote, the music choice, Techno's little smile, the way his ears are perked so you can tell he's intently listening to whatever Phil is saying, Phil's *laughing face*, oh god I'm SOFT! And that's not even to get into the artistry! Your colors are masterful and your design for them continues to kill me. And the way you synced the mood of the music to the sweet companionable mood of the art, gah! So good ;_;

Tommy is the overemotional anime protagonist that just REFUSES to solve issues easily and understand ppl,
Techno is one who seems like a side character with how sparingly he appears on Tommy’s streams, but then you nearly cry when discover all the OVA episodes from his perspective... He was right all along, and he had the power over people...
But people got the messages wrong, and now they’re repeating their mistakes.
The Blade was a weapon to most, but he was just tired, of no one getting his message, of everyone using him, of cleaning after Tommy’s mistakes so repeatedly...
He was done, he’d rather live in peace, as he watches everyone repeat their mistakes, since no one had learned from their mistakes.
And the only one who seemed to be keen on helping him with that, the one who’d seen the massacres firsthand and still saw him as person, Philza... It meant a lot to him.
Okay no one’s reading this, but I’m a starved writer, and Twitter gives me barely enough space. My only job here is to drag anyone who reads this into THE CAPITALIZED WORD OF *FEELS*.

So someone dragging him to anything in the first place would be fairly difficult, plot AND character wise,,,
1- Who’d hate Phil enough to do it?
2- .. Who’d actually have the guts to try that?
