I thought he's/she's going to use shrimps, herbs and fresh fish to whiten the cloths.

The third shirt has four hole buttons before and two hole buttons at the end. If it doesn't work, why make the video and fake it.

Nonsense. Baking soda, as used here, is just a filler. It’s a weak base. Doesn’t have any whitening or stain removal properties.
Just soak items in hot water with a sodium percarbonate-containing oxygen bleach, then wash with laundry detergent.

Well, it’s not a surfactant, so won’t emulsify grease and oil. Rubbing it onto a greasy spot may result in removal of some grease by absorption.
It’s been marketed for decades as a wonder natural product with all sorts of clever household uses. I’ve given up trying to decipher what consumers think about it.

For your kind information when we mix baking soda and laundry detergent. Ghe baking soda forms a natural substance called as sodium bicarbonate it's just a simple chemistry and ultimately it even balances the ph level and so if baking soda makes detergent more even strong and helps to remove stains and odours!

How does it make detergent “more strong”? They already contain additives to control pH.
Add baking soda to ammonia and sniff. How well did it remove the odor?
