I remember being interested in seeing how any Sonic x MLP crossover would play out, just for the story alone. I was a huge fan of Sonic crossovers like this when I first began my journey as a Sonic fan because of how damn cool and official looking they were
It's pretty simple actually.
-Rainbow Dash's fastest top speed ever reached has been debated between *7,610* mph (about mach 22 or so) and *10,208 mph* (or mach 30).
-Sonics top speed ever reached has been *670,616,629* mph (aka: the speed of light).
Even with the generous amount of speed added, Rainbow Dash maxes out in the thousands whereas Sonic's maximum lies in the hundreds of millions. I think its safe to assume who faster one is... but ultimately, no matter who your favorite is, 1 thing is for certain. These guys are fast as ***k!!!

alright, listen, why the hell super sonic got outrun by RD sonic boom? I commented this 3 years ago and Im editing it, Super sonic form can run 3,840 mph, and the sonic boom is basically the speed of sound which is around 300 mph. This video is total false, its only for comedy purpose.

I do know that this is played for Laughs I respect the crater even though he fell from Grace a long time ago but yes Sonic would win he doesn't even need to use his super form Rainbow Dash is only doing a Sonic Rainboom when she's flying really fast Sonic only does that automatically when he's in a light Sprint. And in his super form that's the equivalent to a magician just doing a disappearing track there's no way Rainbow Dash would be able to win let alone actually defeat Sonic. But don't take my word for it I love both characters and I think they're really fantastic but if you're doing a highly accurate one you do know who's going to win

Can you people just accept it was a tie? Honestly, I imagine Sonic being as fast as Rainbow Dash is in his normal state. If he was Super the entire race it'd have been no contest. As you saw he caught up one hell of a long distance in the matter of a second or two, so he'd have won as super. Outside of Super, Sonic is the same as Rainbow Dash in terms of speed. Though take into account Rainbow Dash has the advantage of flight, and Sonic has to stay on the ground. As you saw, when he took to the skies he barely overtook Rainbow Dash. But who am I kidding, they're both awesome characters from great franchises. I know you're protecting your favourite, but just deal with it. I love Sonic about a million times more than MLP, and honestly I can live with this. This is FINE. Grow up guys, seriously.
