I have a question. When I changed my belt, I may have turned the tensioner pulley the wrong way first. Could I have tightened it? Because now after changing my belt I'm still having issues with things but I don't have any noises coming from the pulleys. My belt seems super tight now though & when you push on it, there's no bounce to it. It seems stretched very tight.

Hey bro I was checking out your playlists looking for Sonata specific mods and then wondered are you from St. Louis or around the area? I understand if that’s something you wanna keep private but would be sick if you could help or do performance mod videos on my sport 2.0t
Edit: I saw you have Nelly in your playlist section and us STL natives have special appreciation of his music so I thought I’d ask

Rather than slipping the belt, take less tension off of the pulley system and remove the upper idler bolt.

Best thing you can do is drive the Sonata gently, use good quality synthetic oil, and don't skip any oil or transmission fluid changes.
Hyundai/Kia engines are much more delicate than Toyota/Honda engines. If you drive them hard they will suffer catastrophic bottom end failures (blown engine)
Do not drive Hyundai or Kia engines hard. You will have a bad time!
