I have not found a single normal 2023 elizabeth coin. I want the whole set with the 1952-2022 privy mark. Other than that I only need the Richelle colour. You seem to find a lot of goodies. You're from Ontario I'm guessing? We get all the rejects here in BC 😂
I'm sorry if you answered this already, what do you do with the fakes you find? Very nice finds btw. I learn so much about varieties from your channel. Thanks :-)
130th 👍 nice hunt! I love seeing you guys hunt your currencies. That black ring one looks so cool. Sad for why it exists but still a cool looking coin.
@@CADRollHunter I metal detect and have found about 500 toonies and I clean and inspect each one before sending them to the bank and I have never found a fake. Perhaps a Montreal mint would slip buy but I'm aware of them now. I use my loop when checking them. Chhers.
@@CADRollHunter I've found a 800 fine silver WW2 service medal, Draped bust one cent, Matron one cent. Plenty of Canadian tokens including dragon slayers. Gold is rare, I found ring for a man who lost his grandfathers gold ring. That would be my best find as it made a family very happy. Even a scarce 1858 One cent in good condition. I've got 38 pounds of one cent coins as well. Many buttons even a rare Livery button. I roll up the modern stuff and my son cashes it in at the bank. Good exercise outdoors. Even a King George III copper.
Loved the part with the chocolate toonie. You had me cracking up.
Great video + finds!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!
Alot of sweet finds in 1 box is always a win, James! Hope the weather is even a bigger win down south!
It's always nice to get away to the sunshine in the middle of winter!
You found a lot of commemorative in the hunt.My favorite is the 🍫 chocolate toonie. That was an enjoyable hunt, thanks.

That's great - keep it up! That collection will just get better and better over time!
Yikes! That’s a lot of fakes. Good luck with your searching. Cool finds.
Thanks, Ogir. Luckily I was able to dispose of one of them!
Great video!

Great hunt!
Thanks, Emanuel!

Yes, I'm in Ontario. I haven't found too many myself!
I wonder if the montreal mint toonie is worth some money... Nice part with the chocolate!
Thanks! I couldn't help but have a little fun with the "toonie."

No worries! Someone asked me that same question on this video - you can see my response here!
Some nice finds sorry you found $12 of fakes though. Thanks for sharing, you made me laugh with the chocolate toonie.
Thanks, Bruce! I'm glad you enjoyed my 'fake' toonie clip!

Thanks so much for watching! I'm glad you're enjoying my channel!
enjoyed this search I live in Florida
Thanks, Mark! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
What do you do with the fake coins.
My bank has been good enough to exchange them for me, but I've kept a bunch for other collectors who would like to have one...
I have a colorized 2021 Insulin Toonie.
That's a great one! Nice!
Where do you get your boxes of coins from.
I just ask for rolls or boxes from the bank.
Nice hunt. I enjoyed the chocolate toonie. Where are they minted?
Thanks! Definitely a mystery!! ;)
At the chocolate factory. 😂
Wow 🤩
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video!
@@CADRollHunter sure did! Good day!
Nice video, what are the denomination you like to hunt the most?
Toonies are definitely fun, maybe followed by nickels, then pennies?
@@CADRollHunter yeah definitely nickels are amazing
Great video, I've yet to find a fake toonie.
Consider yourself lucky! (Well, unless you really like the taste of these new fakes!!) ;)

Wow!@@andyboyko2766 that's quite the haul of toonies! How have you made out on silver and gold?! I'm sure you've found all sorts of cool stuff!!

Have you ever found a Montreal mint fake toonie before this? Im still looking for one in my hunts but still have never found one.
Brian. Yes, I think this is my 3rd.
I recently found a rare sight in the us, a 1936 Canadian penny
That's an incredible find!
In your opinion do you think finding colored coins is getting harder?
It is getting harder, but likely because Canada hasn't had a circulation colour quarter since 2017.
Was the chocolate one mint flavored at least? 😂
No. And that was really disappointing... ;)
what happens with the fakes do you go back to the bank or the police
I've gone back to the bank and they've always exchanged them for me (so far!).
😆
well that's a 2 dollar treat💀
No doubt! Thanks for watching!
That's not a fake Canadian Toonie not a counterfeit Toonie but That was a chocolate Canadian Toonie coin
lol! Well, it certainly wasn't a real toonie, that's for sure! Thanks for watching!
Do you collect US coins,?
