I watch your videos now but I gave birth to my second in September and he is just like jackson was, loves sleeping on his front has done since day one - I felt so naughty putting him on his front and worried people saying about SIDS 😒 but he sleeps so well on his front her loves it!! He is also a BIG boy on 97th centile so will need to transfer him to cot soon. These videos give me lots of reassurance x
Emily, I am right there with you on the weight loss journey. My little boy is now 2.5 months old. I'm trying small tweaks in my eating each week so that I can (hopefully) sustain them. I read in a book that writing everything you eat down leads to increased weight loss, but even more effective than that is to snap a photo of everything. And yes, I mean EVERYTHING you eat. This has helped me with my portion control. The photo somehow gives you a different perspective and helps you notice habits. Even more effective than the photo is to share the photos with others...maybe a girlfriend or Instagram. You're inspiring to me! Thanks for sharing your updates.
I’m very glad you posted these updates.. I’m halfway through my first pregnancy and I have this vision of chaos when baby arrives..😱 and I definitely do expect it to be quite an adjustment but these updates give me some hope that maybe it won’t be as bad as I thought lol.. thank you! 😊

Jacksons such a content baby hes georgous.Dont put pressure on yourself to lose weight everyone is different and your losing it at the right rate Women are meant to have a bit of extra weight for a while its nature way as youre the nurturer and you look beautiful and healthy and thats more important than a flat stomouch ☺ youll get there ,no rush .xxx
Aww loved this update, Emily. Baby Jackson is absolutely adorable, his eyes and smile just draw you in. My daughter was allergic to wool as a baby, I had to watch what hats she wore as it broke her skin out at the sides of her face. Nasty injections, I know they're needed but poor little baby, it's awful to see them suffer. Lots of mummy cuddles 😘 xx you're looking fabulous, Emily xx
Oh my when did 2 months passed?! He is sooo cute and you look wonderful too! I don't know for the UK, but here it is what the parent says, so for the vaccines - I always let them put my baby only one vaccine a month - I never let them put 2 at a time, just to prevent major reactions....
Emily Norris I am sure that if you want and ask them they will not say no - you go there every month for a chekup anyways, why not separate the vaccines to help the baby cope with the reactions better... I've done that with my first, I am doing the same with my second at the moment too. :)

I too am annoyed a bit about my belly (my 3rd decided to come 4 weeks early!) & I can't imagine it'll ever be anything resembling flat again any time soon if ever but I'm trying to relax about it. He sounds like the most contented baby, long may that last! Jabs really pull at my heartstrings, especially when the baby is looking at you in panic, awful! I'm pretty sure my stomach muscles went in my first pregnancy, they kind of go back but they won't be quite the same. Some exercises like crunches will make them worse though. Have you considered a belly band/wrap for your muscles? Take care, you look very well and not sleep deprived at all you lucky thing :) xx
I so love your videos. I find them really helpful and beautifully done. My baby is almost 2 months, exclusively breastfeeding, but during the day he feeds every hour and a half or every 2 hours top. Its so amazing that your baby feeds every 3-4 hours! I feel like im doing something wrong... He is gaining weight normally but i think he is too dependant or he doesnt get full. I dont know. A bit desperate here!
Aw Emily there was no way I had a flat belly right after, and not just because Jude is my third, it was the same with my first two as well, and I'm a naturally thin person who workouts and eats well and all that. I think it takes a full year to properly fit into old jeans and another year after that to feel really like yourself, hair, skin, etc...But I was exactly the same after number 3, desperate to be myself again, I was much more aggressive the third time around for sure. You will get there, the tummy will go down over time and all that weight will slowly go away. One thing I did that helped was to look at it like a pregnancy, I looked at every 3 months like a trimester towards weight loss, I've noticed that the body changes in 3 month blocks. Don't watch those people with flat tummies! haha! You're doing great:)

Oh Emily it's brought it all back from when Harry had his 8 week injections. He hated the calpol it was all coming out of his mouth,then the other stuff she was putting in his mouth he hated it,I found the whole thing very stressful. She said he would be sleepy,but he was the opposite he was constantly awake 😩. Jackson is coming on leaps and bounds,he's so handsome. Xx
The first round is the worst...good call on the meds before hand ;) I always skip the oral noro simply because it is contagious via stool after for like 2 weeks and I don't want my other kids getting sick. Glad he's doing well!
oh Emily, don't you feel bad about how your bodys looking after bubba!your glowing!!3 takes a toll on your body and it does take longer for your body to shift the baby weight.I know it did for me anyway.not sure how I'm gonna look after baby number 4 arrives lol xx
May be a little weird that I'm just a university student but I've watched all of your vlogs and I love them, they're so calming. I suppose they remind me of all the fun I had when my sister and I were younger, I don't want to get any older :( but at least I'll have something to look forward to when I have children of my own. I love watching all your videos we have just welcomed our 3rd baby a boy after 2 girls he is 2 weeks old! I just have the guilt at the moment that I'm not spending enough time with my older 2? Did you have this? I had to have an emergency section so was in hospital for a whole week with complications and was exhausted by the time I got home! You make everything look so easy! I'm hoping I will get into my rhythm soon! ☺️

I wonder does Jackson fall asleep independently , My son is now used to fall asleep in my arms before I realise it.and at daytime it’s impossible to put him down unless I put him on his tommy,and only 50/50 chance not waking him up.Do you have any suggestions on how to teach baby fall asleep on his own?what do you do with your children.thank you!

Only found your channel I have a nine week old so I loved this video - I also have a toddler so life is busy ! Sleep going well my little one falls asleep around half 8 /9 but would like to make it earlier as my toddler goes to bed at 7 - what time does Jackson go to sleep at as you seem to have a good routine going !

I know how you feel with wanting to punch the nurse!! Jensen was in hospital with low blood sugar in March and he had around 60 needles in him the whole 2 day hospital stay!! I had to hold him down and I was crying my eyes out cause he was screaming his heart out and shouting 'mummy stop' he's super strong took me and 2 doctors to pin him down 🙈 i hated it and he's now scared of the hospital bless him! Can't believe Jackson is 2 month old... he's the double of Caleb!! Beautiful xx

Allegra all babies are different, some are more hungry it's not a bad thing

Tetanus burns like crazy. I had my last tetanus shot well into adulthood and it hurt like heck. Poor babies.

If he's allergic to wool then it's probably lanolin that he's allergic to. A lot of babies with eczema are allergic to that

I know how you feel with wanting to punch the nurse!! Jensen was in hospital with low blood sugar in March and he had around 60 needles in him the whole 2 day hospital stay!! I had to hold him down and I was crying my eyes out cause he was screaming his heart out and shouting 'mummy stop' he's super strong took me and 2 doctors to pin him down 🙈 i hated it and he's now scared of the hospital bless him! Can't believe Jackson is 2 month old... he's the double of Caleb!! Beautiful xx
