- It definitely took a little while for me to get used to it, but after I started playing with this figure I realized that I do actually enjoy it quite a bit. I was afraid to add this to my collection because I already knew that it was going to be extremely similar to everything else that has been released by this company. That being said, it does bring its own thing to the table which Makes it enjoyable nonetheless. no matter what I am going to keep collecting these because I want to have every single demon slayer figure I can get my hands on. You guys already know how big of a fan I am of this series. That being said, it doesn’t mean that this is a figure I recommend for everyone. Due to how expensive they are I highly recommend collecting at your own expense. Another version of this guy is coming and if you want to get your hands on it feel free to wait. He is going to be significantly cheaper which will be helpful to Collector’s. Overall I have to say I really enjoy this BUZZmod. 1/12 Kimetsu No Yaiba (Demon Slayer) Giyu Tomioka Action Figure though. That being said I hope you guys enjoyed my review. Hey dude - love the vid as usual! I completely get where you're coming from on reusing the same sculpts and how expensive these guys are. I only started watching the anime this year and I loved it so that I had to drop quite a hefty sum to get me up to date on the Buzzmods 😬 saying that though, I have no regrets so far! Although figma wins on accessories, I can't stand sculpted jackets/capes. If they'd included a water-breathing accessory with Tanjiro and Rengoku had a cloth cape, this line would be perfect to me (aside from the price 😬).
Addressing the height of the figures, I honestly think that Buzzmod have almost nailed it. If you look at the below size guide, I think the Buzzmod figures reflect their height more than the Figma do - personally, I think the Figma are too small whereas the Buzzmod are maybe only a couple of millimetres too big (e.g Tanjiro). As for Zenitsu, I think both lines messed up as he's meant to be smaller than Tanjiro but both lines made him way too tall. The real game changer will be Uzui but yeah! As you can see from the size chart, even though the main cast is younger, they're taller than 3 of the Hashira despite their age (for example Obanai is 21 but he's smaller than Tanjiro and Zenitsu)

Just figured knowing this might help rekindle your love for these figures as it'd suck if you stopped reviewing them 😅 they are damn expensive though, I'll give you that!

the figure looks pretty good, the effects are awesome, Can’t wait for tengen, hopes he’s taller than most of the other figures since he towers over them

I was really suspicious about these buzzmod figures but I ordered rengoku and I was honestly not expecting it to be this good
Definitely don't like that they used the same sculpt of Tanjiro for Giyu. If they use it for Uzui I might actually cry.

The Tengen is significantly taller than the others, so he’ll be the most unique of all the demon slayers (flashy style)

I think they did try fixing the issue about the legs being easy to remove by changing the peg designs. Previous figures have a smoother peg but Giyu's has rivets to sort of "lock in" the legs
Giyu is my favorite Hashira too. He's awesome, his haori and katana is so dope, and just overall a relatable cool character, reminds me a Shikamaru from Naruto. I feel like BUZZmod been killing it with the hashira figures but they should redo Tanjiro and his squad, they feel lowkey lacking to me in a few areas. And yeah while they are overpriced, thankfully you can find them for like $100 or $110 on some sites, so we don't have to damn near pay $200 for them which is cool.
While I've been having trouble deciding which ones to get still, I think ima just go with the figmas first so that way they can go with figma Hyakkimaru, then I'll get the buzzmod versions. Great review man thanks💯👍

Yeah, I'm just gonna wait to figma. I'll just go with figma on everything except akaza. Just not a fan of these buzzmods. The water effect is gorgeous, but that's really it. 150 bucks for the same body that is the exact same size as a character that should be shorter is just not good. I also don't like the glossy look the buzzmods have, they look kinda cheap. The neutral face is good, but the screaming one is terrible. I still don't like the pants or the soft good as well. Just too many negatives to warrant me spending that much for a figure.
I agree I got the figma tanjiro and zenitsu, I really dont like how the fabric haori makes them look, kinda chunky. Im just gonna wait on the giyu aswell
I agree, the Buzzmod figures just look odd and feel odd. I got Tanjiro when he first came out and sold it shortly after. Figma is decent, but honestly I feel like the look of the characters are just hard to mold onto an articulated figure. I have the complete Banpresto line and wish they made articulated figures that looked just like them. Anyways, good review as always.

I'll stick to figma tbh I think the giyu figma is gonna look alot better cant wait to see the finish product along side rengoku I might just get the buzzmod tengen since he doesn't have the cloth
so glad i skipped out on buzzmod. Right off the bat i already dreaded the scale. Now the hashiras are even more off scale?! Might as well make tengen the same height now too because rengoku and giyu is already the same height as the main 4. What couldve been an awesome line was ruined over the scaling.

Personally, I'm going with Figma. I'm only grabbing buzzmods for the characters that Figma doesn't do. So I've got Tengen, Shinobu and Giyu coming
Figma is doing shinobu and giyu those 2 were the last figmas in the demon slayer line to be announced not sure when or if they're gonna do more the buzzmod tengen though is gonna look great with figmas though 100%

What do you mean by another version is coming and is going to be cheaper? Is it the Buzzmod Giyu or are you referring to a figma Giyu? Sorry if that sounded harsh with the wording, I didn't intend for it to be.

tbh im not a big fan of the fabric jackets. the characters are scaled down but the thickness of the fabric isnt and makes it them look fat imo.
