Congrats! As soon as he was born, I knew right away he was a brow baby! My daughter was in the same exact position and after pushing for 5 hours, she wasn't low enough in the birth canal to attempt an assisted delivery, so I needed a c-section. We called her a unicorn for the first few days because she had such bad forehead swelling as well :) I'm so glad you were able to get him out vaginally. That's seriously such an amazing accomplishment!
Gosh where were you when I needed answers?!?! 😂 Good job mama!! Pushing for 5 hours and then having to make that decision is NOT EASY!! 💜 I almost wish I wouldn’t have pushed for long enough to get him lower because of the forehead swelling and me (down there) 😳 but I’m also glad it wasn’t a last minute emergency. These darn babies just don’t want to come out!!
Thankyou so much to you and your Mum for sharing this very difficult delivery. It must have been so hard for Mum to watch when it was all kinds of wrong. I have a question: will you continue to use the OB/GYN you had with Greyson? Also why does the Hospital not provide pain relief medications? I always see Mums from Canada and USA say bring Tylenol and Ibuprofen, why dont the Hospital provide these. Hope you are all doing well. X
She has been to 6 births and said that mine was by far the scariest! (That could also be because I’m her daughter) but still! 😆 umm... that’s a good question, honestly I am a bit traumatized and probably won’t have another for a VERY long time. I went through about 5 OB/GYNs while I was in the hospital because of how long it took... I really loved the DR. Who actually delivered him but they wouldn’t be guaranteed to be on that day so I might consider going to a different hospital. As for the pain medication they weren’t giving very many options because of Covid during the labour (no gas or birth ball etc...) and afterwords they were so full in the postpartum units that the doc pretty much told me to leave ASAP because they needed the bed... but while I was in there (maybe 8ish hours) they did give me Tylenol and Advil. 🤷🏼♀️ I would have liked to see a little more support for moms in the NICU though...
So I know your Momma said you were a rock star.. and you were for sure, I remember your mom when she had Eva!!! she was also a rock star.. so the apple didn't fall to far from the tree!!
