Lost my mother at 19, my dad at 22 due to a motorcycle accident, and lost my brother little brother to a brain aneurysm not too long ago. Hard to think about and I don’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. All you can do is find the good in EVERYTHING life offers you.

Doc, under the facade and Disrespect character is real as fuck. I think it’s what makes him the best to ever do it. He knows how to balance who he is and the character he plays. RIP to all the mothers that have left us before their time! My mom died @ 61 years young of cancer. She beat it 3x! I believe she stuck it out, just long enough to see me have my own child. She's been gone now for 5 years and I hope that everyone that reads this message really knows how special/important their mothers really are. Cherish the time that you've got left.

As my mom was nearing her end she needed lots of help. One day she asked why I wasn’t mad for not being able to go out with friends anymore and I responded with “well you took care of me, now let me take care of you.” Just be there for her man. That’s all she wants. Tell her you love her

I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 9 years old. I was in the room when she passed, surrounded by loved ones. Im 19 now and I would give anything to be able to hug her just one more time, and tell her about what is going on in my life. I know it’s not something you want to hear but It doesn’t get easier. As time moves on, the pain just comes in waves rather than being constant. To anyone reading this, spend as much time with your family as you can and cherish every moment. One day they will be gone and you may regret not spending more time with them.
Tell her or write her letters and hug her, she is with you and will always be.

I lost my father from a boating accident at age 15. My life & my famille’s lives changed forever, my old man was our households backbone. When he passed everything fell apart around us and we began going our separate ways. These past couple years I’ve had vivid dreams of my Dad working on the house & giving me advice over my present time adversities. Waking up is the most depressing part because I want to hear more of what he has to say.
Thats horrible man. I almost lost myself from a heroin overdose back in 2016. I was in a coma for a month, and I woke up paralyzed with one of my legs missing, on dialysis, out of it, half alive. I've recovered, but things have not been the same after losing a leg at 21 years old.
To get to the point, Cuz all I've talked about is myself so far, I have had so many friends die from this heroin shit, in fact I am going tomorrow to power wash my dead friends' moms house with my dad, and to see the devastation in all of these mom's eyes from losing a family member, its horrific. I think all the time how grateful I am that my mom and dad and sister are still here, and that I'm still here, although pretty broken. I listen to the Grateful Dead sometimes who my dad loves, and I think about him as a young man, and how he had no idea what he was going to be in for with all the damage I did to the family.
Fuck man as I'm typing this, I'm really trying to convey it in a way that makes me say I can't imagine the pain you are going through, but it seems to just keep coming off selfishly.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm so sorry for your loss and the breaking of your family that happens with loss. You are a hero for what you have gone through, and you don't realize it. People would tell you more often I'm sure, but they don't want to make you feel sad or uncomfortable, the same way people don't want to bring up the amputation to me either and how they feel about it.
Much love, from one stranger to another. I am so sorry about your Dad man and I hope your family can mend back together in some way.

7 years ago this past May that I lost my Dad to Prostate Cancer. At the time we were in a bad spot. I didn't have a car and had to take cabs to work for 70+ hours a week while a close family friend helped me enormously with home care. Moments like this show that behind the huge personas and showmanship there's still a human being with emotion and empathy. Bug hug to the doc and everybody whos lost someone to such a frightening and terrible disease.
Lost my mom to drugs when I was only 8… and my father to an accident when I was 12… you never recover from it. You just learn to, well, survive. Video gaming has helped me survive. I don’t know what I would do if I was in docs shoes reading a comment like this. It be hard to not show all of the emotion.

My grandma is nearing her time. Ya know, getting sick CRAZY easy. Hardly able to walk for decent time or do any exercise. Sleeping and resting for way longer periods. Pain triggers too easily from doing simple tasks. Memory loss/Confusion or things like her grandkids names (she has called me and my brother the opposite names an alarmingly large amount of times in the past year alone). And sometimes, after a family gathering or hangout, I get home, and just sit there and think. I just think “wow….I need to start mentally preparing because the truth of her heath is undeniable.” But l know it’s foolish. No amount of “PrEpERaTIonS” can truly brace you for something like a family member passing on. If I get this sad simply thinking about the inevitable, I cannot begin to imagine how sad I will be when that inevitability comes. I have mad respect for people who’ve lost their direct family members. Pets included. I truly do. Because that is one of the hardest things to experience in life, period. Full stop.
Whoever reads this thread, please love your family. If they’ve wronged you in the past, please forgive them, or try to help them. (Obviously within reason.) And vice versa. Because I know most parents do not want to pass on leaving behind a ruined relationship with their own blood. Same as I know most of us wouldn’t. Tell them you love them. Try your best to be on good terms with them at ANY given moment. Because life is wild, and the fan is always covered in shit. You just never can predict when someone’s time comes. So strive to always be on good terms, so that if the time comes, they left with a positive mindset.

Lost my dad 3 years ago when I was 34. It was and still is the worst thing that's happened to me, something I don't think I'll ever really get over. Losing a parent especially a close one that you relied on for so much more than you ever knew is life changing. Days get easier but you feel that pain every single day.

Lost my dad when I was just 5. I’m 39 now. Just in the last few years I’ve really realized what an impact that had on my life. I’m still so angry and sad about what happened. I can honestly say there is nothing more in this world that I’d like to do more than giving him a hug.

It just so happens that Doc saw this dono out of the thousands of others he gets and felt pretty empathetic towards it, something you should try out one of these days.
In case you didn't actually watch the video, his mom died from fucking cancer and he was looking for someone to help him out... whether it be a full response or just acknowledgement that he doesn't have to suffer by himself and he's allowed to enjoy his time while he's with the other champs.

Lost my mom when I was 15 and it was probably the most hardest experience I had to go through as a kid, I’m 26 in less than a month and just thinking about the day she passed still makes me sad. Knowing I’ll never see her again at least in this lifetime.

I lost my mom at 23 and man… she was my world snd best friend. I watched her take her final breath with my siblings and family, it’s haunting. I drive past her crossing guard spots where she worked and always say hello and hope she’s making sure the kids are being watched out for as she loved spreading joy to them. She was so loved by her school kids.. and by us. Hold on to your parents. I almost lost my dad 3 months ago and I spent every day all day in the hospital with him and he’s better than ever. Love you all ❤ don’t give up if you’re hurting. Take a walk and listen to your favourite podcast, something beautiful, find nature again. Don’t give up.
This is why I love Doc, he plays a charachter, but the realness always comes through, top bloke.
I never really got the hype around doc until I started watching him, the man really is a good character and person, got alot of respect for him.
That's why you should cherish every moment with your loved ones.
You can tell in that moment of silence that it hit the doc, I have a huge respect for guy he's always someone you can watch if your having a bad day and he always puts on a show for the fans.

My grandma passed away back in 2001 from cancer it tore my family apart she' was glue that held everyone together I still tear up when I think about her she's was like my mom who raised from 7 til I was about 15 when she passed I love you grandma I hope to see you again one day
I don't follow streamers very closely. But the Doc pops up all the time for me on UA-cam and stuff. I gotta say to see someone of his caliber showing genuine concern and empathy for a single fan makes me cry. Part of why I love gaming is the way we're able to get so close to people that are far away. And for someone you lookup too in that community to stop and acknowledge you and appreciate you is mind blowing, and the best part about streaming in general.

It's pretty easy to get emotional over that when you've experienced similar loss. We all lose loved ones eventually, but to see them have to suffer through cancer is the absolute worst. RIP to that viewers mom and sorry for your loss...the entire Arena is here for you

I lost my mother to her battle with cancer and Covid on top of it December last year. It was her one year on the 17th. I’m only 19 and the world hasn’t felt the same since. Appreciate your mothers, I wish I showed mine how much she truly meant to me, I know you hear it from everyone “you should treasure the time with them as they won’t always be around” but it’s the truest thing ever , please please please take my advise, even hugging my mother a simple thing I was able to do before would be all I could ask for in life. Hug them, remind them you love them. ❤️

Not many people have the pleasure of having their best friend also be their parent. My father was mine. Lost him when I was 22 years old to a car accident. To those that know, it is without a doubt the most devastating thing you can go through. Nothing prepares you for that phone call. All I know is that my father would be very proud of his 2 sons today, and we would keep going for him. Hang in there, and one day you will mean that much to your kids. This is amazing.
You can tell he misses his mother and wishes she was there. Hard to watch but very moving to know she meant that much to him. RIP and sorry for all your losses. Much love to all.. 💯❤️

I lost my older brother not even a month ago. My other 2 brothers passed away within the past 5 years. I feel the doctors pain. It doesn’t go away.

I lost my father suddenly in 2018, had to put my dog down and lost a friend the year prior. I've been living the years since in damn near constant fear that I'll lose those closest to me in an instant. I hate thinking like that. I keep telling myself that I should appreciate my mom and brother now while they're in my life and I'm trying to, but those anxious thoughts are always there in the back of my mind. It's scary. Tell your family you love them. Go do something with them, create a memory, however small.
It felt like he took the time to show compassion, give a shout out that he's spending time with the community for support and took a moment of silence to give some love and respect to that kid and his family.

I lost my dad when I was 22. I’m now 30 and I’ve still never really recovered from it. He was my only adult male mentor, and going through my 20s without a father has sucked. I’ve dealt with depression ever since, and even if I get out of it for a bit it always returns around any holidays, the day he died and his birthday. But especially Father’s Day. Guaranteed massive depression on that day.
@@Khiers I'm now 31 and my dad would have been 95 now? He passed around 4 years ago. So I know what it's like growing up with older parents. Visit often! Enjoy the small things. One day you wont have them, and that's ok, that's life, but you don't want to regret not doing things. As for you @jefftX, your dad would want to see you being the happiest version of yourself, he's still a part of you, and when you both get to compare stories again one day, make sure it's a good story aye? Honestly I know how losing a parent to cancer feels and it’s definitely one of the worst times in your life, seeing the person you love deteriorating it sucks, it’s been almost 2 years without my dad I’m 21 now and only now are things getting easier. (P.s. If you are lost a loved one due to cancer just remember they aren’t suffering anymore, or even if they are still with you spend the most time with them and take as many memories in as you can maybe take a few videos of the final “good times” You’ll make it through this just like I did ❤️)
