I've always thrived on collaboration and having people there to pool thier talents and individual strengths to reinforce the areas where others might be a little weaker...and just sending the music to places it wouldn't have gone otherwise. Plus it tends to bring out the best in you when wheels hit the road and your people are counting on you to really bring what make you shine to the table. And that's not even mentioning the fact that music is as much a social thing as a personal one, so it's just flar out more fun when you have a crew there to share the process of creation.
