Just scored a Husk Buster - my go to shotgun has always been the ground pounder, but havent been lucky enough to get one with affliction (no core reperk atm) - so guess asking between groundpounder (6th perk headshot) and Husk buster (6th perk affliction) Im thinking huskbuster, your thoughts? If I do go huskbuster Im thinking CR, CD, Energy, but not sure between reload or magazine, & ofc +dmg% to affliction --- also so jealous I missed out on leviathon axe, does that circulate at all in the item shop or was from a season?
I still like ground pounder the best. Leviathan Axe is a shop item, so it’s possible to return someday. It’s been a while since it was in the shop though.

I thought it wasn’t hard for people to understand that all these clearly labeled *SOLO* videos are strategies for helping people *SOLO* these missions. These aren’t strats that people need for full squads in pub missions. But apparently I’ve had some other morons come and comment that can’t read. Sorry for the rant. This is the kind of intelligent, cost-effective build that can bridge the divide between the militant jailers and anti-jailers in public lobbies. Because the husks are getting killed, there's no reason why those who want to kill husks can't, and for those who just want to leech from someone else's build, they can stand idly by. The main thing one would have to look out for in a public lobby is people standing around the base of the objective and influencing the husk pathing away from the kill box. As a slight adaptation for changing spawn locations, might I suggest altering your ramps to the sides of the kill box so they curve round towards the back of the objective, minimising the path the husks need to take. You'd need to alter your triangular walls to accommodate, but it's how I've edited my ramps for these kinds of builds for a long time.
I’ll give it a try. Usually the sound walls will reset the husks pathing when they hit the floors on the back side of the base. And since the kill box is the easiest shot at the objective when they’re that close to the base, they will re-route to it. But I like your suggestions and will give them a try.
Nice to see that a damage build is also possible. It takes quite some rocket ammo and potshot durability though for just 1 mission. Then again, it is played solo. Good job as always💪🏻
Yeah, I was a little too generous with my shots. You don’t really need to kill blasters like I was doing. I just wanted to be extra safe in case I needed to go down from the tower.
That’s what the sound walls are for. They reset the husks pathing and they will go into the box since it is the shortest route to the objective. Just do it and watch.
Good point. I think for this mission you might be able to drop mega base Kyle since the build is so compact. Just make sure the whole base is covered. But I would probably use Bombsquad Kyle over Demolitionist Penny. Smashers died so fast already. But test it out!
if i were to use 1 roadside and 1 wall dart, would it be more effective? cause broadside has a long cooldown, maybe an extra wall dart to even out the damage?
I’d advice broadsides on the side wall, speaker on the front, and zappo max on the back wall…with a freeze to let everything reset. I don’t use broadsides and walldarts across from each other. My rule of thumb is if it is 3 or more spaces it gets a wall dart and if it gets a broadside then it has to have a wall one to two spaces away so the cannon balls bounce back making your broadside literally twice as effective. The amount of ppl I see with broadsides shooting off into nothing is ridiculous imho!!
@@Legion-xq8eo personally I like the sound wall (main wall) 2x broadsides (with different reload speeds so the alternate and fire more, sometimes ill toss a dynamo on the back wall or a wall light to extra stun smashers that go into the kill box while I blow them up - however this game is amazing because there are so many ways to do things as long as it works for you /happy
Yeah i might change the 6th perk since you kind of need to move around. Right now it’s just set to whatever it came with. I’m debating changing it to stand still for 17% dmg to mist monsters, or snare. Snare is good to slow the smashers. I’ve had runs where 3 smashers come at once and it’s hard to get them all before they charge.
I thought about it and I am going to put Snare as the 6th perk because I am always eating the wafer right before shooting. I will never get the damage bonus from standing still.

@@Killshot-eo6mx I’ve gone back to reload speed. The 6 shots during Kunai is great, but I think the reload is better overall. And this may seem a little counter-intuitive but with chaos agent, you don’t really need the bigger magazine size anymore. The reload is still helpful when your abilities are all on cooldown. If you just have one potshot, I would put affliction as the 6th perk. I’m debating between affliction and snare for my 2nd potshot.
quick question if anyone knows, do wall spikes only shoot through inverted ramps or will they shoot through normally placed ramps as well (such as ones they can walk up)?

I know your working on that RTL dmg build in game atm, so dont want to bug you there but if you have time after - I have mats for those guardians wills, and mats if you will craft me 2-3 of your MSK potshots (physical ones) for my next run, will be a while until mine are supercharged, I farm a ton so can gladly donate any mats you are short on for your time :)
@@torrija76 No need to add more damage traps. This build works even if you leave out the broadsides altogether. It actually works better lol 😂. The husks will just despawn in the kill box, same as if they died to the broadsides. Keep the tile above the kill box open for slow field, and in case you need to rain down potshots on a smasher that gets inside.
i'v also found a build that s fully afk, execpt for replacing floor launchers every once in a while. no need to worry about minibosses or smashers unless you're forced to build out of wood or something. i understand you might be very busy with stuff at the moment so please take your time!
Was just thinking of your usual build still works but use anti airs for flingers and the high up afk spot to deter smashers as it's usually just smashers that's the problem 🤔

I'm one of the people who "cries" about jail builds (not stall builds) IN PUBLIC MISSIONS, and the attitude one gets from public jail builders. I've had people deliberately sabotage a mission because it's not a jail build. If people want to jail, that's up to them. However, they can't expect every player in every public lobby to acquiesce. I’m personally not a fan of the closing circle on the RTD Why did they have to add it to that mission? It wouldn’t be as bad if it closed outside of the spawn locations, but hey! Epic doesn’t care about stw... rant over 🤣
its truly works just as well as stalls this is how I build in public missions, exception is I use a dome lobber shield instead of anti airs but otherwise same build, its crazy use 4 damage traps people love it, use 4 stalling traps people condemn it, hypocrites :) - anyways good luck to you this is truly a great and efficient build for public lobbies people can shoot all they want and not complain ;)

Massive wall of text incoming ..I am posting this here because Digi is one of the few creators I have respect for anymore: Why I feel like quitting save the world: I like to build and be creative, whether its damage trapping, stalling, Jailing - but this game has become a toxic viscous circle, we have some "big content creators who insist their way is the only way to play, they link to people who obviously glitch.... there is a difference between manipulating the AI (example funneling or the 3 wall rule is also making the UI do what you want .. which is the point find ways to win) However a few folks post obvious glitches a small minority when then these extremists with the larger communities start a campaign and the game gets changed its a vicious circle, why the hell other people feel that they need to be the arbiter of other people fun and their was is the only way is beyond me, ... its funny these people you respect so much did the things you have trouble with before these changes were put in effect aka it was easier for them than you -- its tiring I like to create new builds I dont like being "forced" to keep making changes constantly because of a few vocal people ...games need some consistancy .. guess what folks it is just as easy to dmg trap as it is to jail. I laugh at these experienced and big time creators who throw 100 traps at a mission they play with 3 other high end OP players and call it skill, they do not represent most peoples gameplay, they always have their followers who want so bad to be included either because they want friends or logic has left them due to their need for a para-social relationship that convinces them everything their creator says is gospel and "how it should be", who donate them mats and emulated view points they themselves likely dont even believe deep down..on the other hand some in the jailing community are just as bad, I wont link the video but using a glitch to stand 7 tiles up and confuse husks using 0 traps or strats while laughing and even calling it a glitch isnt right either, and they hurt us just as much .... So go ahead again and get the AI messed with because these big creators will make it look like "everyone is doing this" which makes more code change that limit creativity. but the people campaigning are in a priveledged spot and dont have to redo their stuff and adapt to the new code, -- Digi much respect for being you and for this video showing them how literally this is no different, same build but different traps. -- btw fortnite is a survival game, the point is to survive to achieve the goal, the developers even quoted "while the game will include guns it wont be a typical shoot but a survival game" - so let me see zombies attack, you can kill them as a way, or protect their target long enough for the storm to dissapate taking the zombies with them (winning) survival is just that surviving - as long as you arent abusing an obvious glitch creatively doing something different is not "wrong" but see these people straw man by saying things are glitches when they see them, then pressure from their echo chamber of fans gets things changed and they then use the change to say see "I was right it was a glitch because it was changed" crowd control traps were a strat in fortnite, just like damage traps are a strat in fortnite - just make sure you use the strats you are told to though /rant off

i found fully afk CHEAP build, would you like me to maybe share it with you so you can share it with your viewers? its immune to smashers, aswell. just not wall weakening.
Pubs don’t always fill so you might not have a choice. And yes, there isn’t much difference between stalling and damage. The husks despawn and “die” in a stall build, just like a damage build. This build is a bit of both worlds.

Like it. And if you stand still with your pot shot (rolled with damage to mist monsters), it stacks so you'll use less ammo. Great vid!

How do you cancel the animation while placing the base? I do it differently but i think your way looks easier
Stand in the middle of the tile where you are placing the base.
I think something is bugged tho, because I’m never getting the animation anymore since the 19.10 patch.
I would consider adding a tyre trap on top of the kill box. Your design allows it.
I need that tile free to drop the slow field into the box like I did in this vid. But I thought about adding it!

its truly works just as well as stalls this is how I build in public missions, exception is I use a dome lobber shield instead of anti airs but otherwise same build, its crazy use 4 damage traps people love it, use 4 stalling traps people condemn it, hypocrites :) - anyways good luck to you this is truly a great and efficient build for public lobbies people can shoot all they want and not complain ;)

USE CODE: DIGI - Digi could you a quick video just highlighting your weapon and trap schematics please ? we can pause no need to explain them all, Im happy with most of the ones ive picked, but the day you think you cant learn from others is they day you stop learning - I am especially curious about your traps, and MSK weps (just started getting them, I have the pistol (dont really use) the fury(hammer) and just got the assault rifle hoping to get the launcher next time but if not I can live with the sword :)

Massive wall of text incoming ..I am posting this here because Digi is one of the few creators I have respect for anymore: Why I feel like quitting save the world: I like to build and be creative, whether its damage trapping, stalling, Jailing - but this game has become a toxic viscous circle, we have some "big content creators who insist their way is the only way to play, they link to people who obviously glitch.... there is a difference between manipulating the AI (example funneling or the 3 wall rule is also making the UI do what you want .. which is the point find ways to win)
However a few folks post obvious glitches a small minority when then these extremists with the larger communities start a campaign and the game gets changed its a vicious circle, why the hell other people feel that they need to be the arbiter of other people fun and their was is the only way is beyond me, ... its funny these people you respect so much did the things you have trouble with before these changes were put in effect aka it was easier for them than you -- its tiring I like to create new builds I dont like being "forced" to keep making changes constantly because of a few vocal people ...games need some consistancy .. guess what folks it is just as easy to dmg trap as it is to jail.
I laugh at these experienced and big time creators who throw 100 traps at a mission they play with 3 other high end OP players and call it skill, they do not represent most peoples gameplay, they always have their followers who want so bad to be included either because they want friends or logic has left them due to their need for a para-social relationship that convinces them everything their creator says is gospel and "how it should be", who donate them mats and emulated view points they themselves likely dont even believe deep down..on the other hand some in the jailing community are just as bad, I wont link the video but using a glitch to stand 7 tiles up and confuse husks using 0 traps or strats while laughing and even calling it a glitch isnt right either, and they hurt us just as much ....
So go ahead again and get the AI messed with because these big creators will make it look like "everyone is doing this" which makes more code change that limit creativity. but the people campaigning are in a priveledged spot and dont have to redo their stuff and adapt to the new code, -- Digi much respect for being you and for this video showing them how literally this is no different, same build but different traps.
-- btw fortnite is a survival game, the point is to survive to achieve the goal, the developers even quoted "while the game will include guns it wont be a typical shoot but a survival game" - so let me see zombies attack, you can kill them as a way, or protect their target long enough for the storm to dissapate taking the zombies with them (winning) survival is just that surviving - as long as you arent abusing an obvious glitch creatively doing something different is not "wrong" but see these people straw man by saying things are glitches when they see them, then pressure from their echo chamber of fans gets things changed and they then use the change to say see "I was right it was a glitch because it was changed" crowd control traps were a strat in fortnite, just like damage traps are a strat in fortnite - just make sure you use the strats you are told to though /rant off

This game is truly amazing and one of the best. It will be hard finding another like it. If you do reconsider, I still have these Guardian Wills crafted and waiting for you. 🙏🏻

I likely wont completely quit, I will edit it to my true intention which is "why I feel like quitting stw"

It’s sad that one of the biggest StW content creators feels this way too but whatever. I’m gonna still be me. I’m gonna play this game how I want to play, supercharge what I want to supercharge. Because in the end, they’re wrong and I really don’t give a shit what the haters think.
@@Digidadda I agree I just hate that the vocal minority swing so many of the new players to their way of "how you should play" its funny I cant remember a time ive stalled in public games, but I see these creators (the one you know who I mean has a new video) its on RTD he uses like 100 traps and tons of mats + 4 players, basically afks it so uneffiencent and unskilled, and still tells people "You shouldnt be soloing 160x4s) just because that person doesnt enjoy the challenge doesnt mean noone else does /sigh Edit:I am not afraid to mention this creator by name I just see no value in doing so it either gets them even more attention or brings their toxic crowd here to cause problems)

Who would ever solo a 160? Just go to Pubs. This is technically still stalling ur just killing the smashers/flingers
Pubs don’t always fill so you might not have a choice. And yes, there isn’t much difference between stalling and damage. The husks despawn and “die” in a stall build, just like a damage build. This build is a bit of both worlds.

@@raider9527 because this is a damage build. The husks all died from damage. And you’re free to shoot whatever you want. It’s not going to mess up the build.
@@Digidadda they all didnt die until that last part were a smasher got in and you shot your potshot everything before that was just despawing and respawning. The healers was keeping everything alive.
@@raider9527 meh, whatever, doesn’t matter. You’re just picking at minor details. It’s still a damage build when like 95% of things are dying. Isn’t the whole point of the hate for stall/jail builds is you can’t shoot what you want? This build lets you.
