Cooking Steak In A Bag (Sous Vide Science)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- A few months ago I tried to cook a steak using the sous vide method and I had one of the best steaks of my life. I decided to look into the science behind sous vide cooking and It was very interesting to learn how slow cooking benefits the steak. I also love the convenience of not having to worry about overcooking a steak.
Thank you so much for watching this video! If you would like to suggest a video idea please leave it in the comments, and if you enjoyed please like and subscribe! It was my pleasure to add a bit of science to your day!

I'm so here for Cooking With Chase. (And now I want a steak...)
Great, now I want steak. Thanks for that. I really hope you enjoyed you steak. Also, your explanation for why sous vide works was great! As always, great video. Btw, glad to see that the Hurricane didn't cause you any issues!
Perfect!! What time's dinner?
Thank you for not sounding annoying. Your research was effective. Keep up the videos!
Young man, you are a 'super geek'. And I mean that as a compliment of the highest order.
G'day !!! Very imformative, Chase!!! The next time you do it, Id sear it before you place it in the water
Quit poking it! Put it on the pan and then LEAVE IT ALONE! You want the crispy, crunchy outside without raising the internal temperature any more than necessary. The best way is to give it a high temperature (I like 500F, but your mileage may vary) and let it sit still for 4 to 5 minutes. Moving it damages the crust you are trying to form and lets more of the yummy yummy juices escape. Then flip, sit, remove and rest.

This video made me reconsider the lunch I was having, when I watched it. :(
I've never been too fond of beef, but this looks good.

What about butter instead of oil?
I just realized I want this guy to become spiderman.
I can do this on the grill in 15 min
With the right cut but the bag turns everything ribeye worthy if you cook it long enough
