I bought the 7" of Borrowed Love and with the single came a bonus Cassette which featured this very Remix on the cassette and I STILL have it!!!!! ***** It's one of THE best remixes EVER! Thanks for uploading it!!!! I would DIE to purchase it on CD and vinyl. I listened to this REMIX on loooooop in the 80s!!! All Alan Coulthard remixes are flawlessss! THANK YOU AGAIN! *********
At least after 30 years DMC rectified their mistake and credited the proper artist....A big thanks Alan and Les too for all the amazing mixes you guys have created over the past 30 odd years...Creative legends.
I definitely did this SOS Megamix and Les Adams also confirms this. Why would anyone think otherwise? I'm interested to know as sleeve seems clear enough?
The original cover of the DMC sleeve from the Sept 85 record credits 'The Judge', the another mix on there, 'Atlantic Crossing' also credited to The Judge.
Actually your spot on Les'the judge'Adams did do this mix I have the original covers as well as this re-issue....Unless they got it wrong on the original cover and have now corrected it I'm really not sure.

I would love to buy an Alan Coulthard compilation vinyl or CD collection in cleaned up remastered sounds. 👌 even recently I bought a promo cassette with Aretha Franklin mix you did 💿 thanks for a superb history of mixing up gems. 💎

As far as I'm concerned it was Alan (The Judge) Coultard, and Les (The Mixdoctor) Adams. I know that the sos band mix was by Les Adams.
I'll ask Alan Coulthard.
