No we're not. I'm a Liao from this very village and all my relatives complain that a lot of Cantonese people assume that we're Hakka. We've not. If I we're, I would be proud of it. I think that it's bad enough that Han people discriminate against non-Han and I wouldn't want anyone to think that I'm "insulted" because I'm called Hakka, but I am just more irritated by the ignorance.

Although I am five generation Taishan American born outside China, I know much more Chinese history than most Educated Chinese from China. You are welcome to consult me about the history and culture of China, I am looking forward your reply! I lived outside of New York City.

這位陳導游先生肯定不是台山人 甫草洋台山話讀(苦草洋)而不是(普草洋) 台城是台山市一個行政區 冲蒌不是在台城 冲萋是一個鄉 例如端芬也是一個鄉.
多謝金主評論！聽我講嘢嘅口音，就知我唔係台山人了。你認知的行政區域是上世紀90年代嘅。自1995年后，五邑開平、台山、新會、恩平、鶴山嘅行政由江門市代管，成為縣級市。江門是地級市。所以原本鄉的就升為鎮。鎮嘅變咗市區。我所知嘅就係甘樣，謝謝你！
所言甚是，台城是台山县的县城，现在台山县改称为台山市，那么台城就相应为台山市的一个（行政）区了。所以不能将台山市称作台城。

Most Tung Loi peoples are not original Taishanese. They don't speak taishanese correctly. They are foreigner. They are Hakka peoples or other peoples.
