That's not a bad power curve for a 2-valve thumper. I was expecting it to go downhill after 6k.

How would this compare to a yz125? I know the yz125 has like 34hp and the klx230r only has about 18 but they have about the same torque. I looked at the dyno for the yz 125 and it looks like it makes the power higher up in the rpms, by the looks of it the yz125 makes around the same horse power as the klx230r at around 7500rpm, so if you were trail riding and not really getting the yz125 that high rpm would it feel similar in power to the klx230r? Just wondering because these are the 2 bikes I'm looking at buying used or maybe a 250 4 stroke. Also the yz is around 210lbs and the klx is around 250lbs
The KLX is way easier to ride in the woods. The YZ125 is great to jump and rip around on. In summary: YZ 125 hill climbs and jumps. klx 230r woods and trails at 6mph. Paved roads up to 65mph. I would buy both as they do different things.
It doesn't sound like much ,but I bet U can still get it to a descent speed.
the topspeed is not even impressive, top on 133 less or more

@@gmac9841 yamaha serow 225 can do better than this, top on 150 and torque is 19nm
@@bianzarocky3964you're confusing 4-stroke for 2-stroke. Not many 4-strokes on the market are built for quickness. There are a few exceptions. They're built for trail riding.
itll be an awesome trail bike. a 230 will be my upgrade from the 150F
