- I finally got my hands on Mattel's the Masters Of The Universe Turtles Of Grayskull Donatello action figure. This MOTU origins Donatello is supposed to represent a crossover between worlds of The Masters Of The Universe and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I have heard some mixed reviews about this figures, so I'm about to see for myself. Hang out with your girl for a bit as free my Donatello from his packaging and quickly review and give my initial thoughts on this figure.

Just wanted to take the time to say that I love your shirt. Growing up, this was one of my favorite video game that I still play every now and then to this day.

Sounds like Mattel is trying to be cheap with the shell turning into a shield….they could have given us a shield accessory. To your point, why would a turtle take off his armor (shell) and make himself more vulnerable to his enemies? Do better Mattel.

Everyone has their niche, stuff they like, stuff they don't care for. Personally been a MOTU fan since the original cartoon, so if this peeked your interest feel free to ask anything at all. I love the crossover! Donnie and Duncan would have been best dudes if they ever met. The dude Donatello is fighting on the card back is a villain from He-man: Beast Man in his crossover armor.

An evil sorcerer (Skeletor) is trying to take over the source of the power, So a young prince is gifted a magical sword that he can use to transform into He-man ( The Most Powerful Man in the Universe) to defend Castle Grayskull where the source of the power is held.

I agree! It should of been Man At Arms. (MOTU) and Donatello (TMNT) on the packaging! A unique and personalized packaging. And not the same generalized packaging found on every figure.

The best TMNT crossover in my opinion is Ghostbusters and TMNT...two of my favorite IPs all rolled into one...and we got not only one but two mini-series!! Amazing reads!!

While I was a fan of MotU as a kid, I'm hesitant to collect a figure from this line. I am tempted to get the Raphael figure when it comes out.
But I do have to say that Raphael's and Leo's weaponry are more intriguing than Donnie's. But then again, I may just be biased with blades.
I myself am not a huge fan of Pokemon, but I did like and watched the 1st generation of Pokemon like JigglyPuff and Charmander.

The 80s had such variety that you could like three things and not the fourth thing lol yea....I ain't gave A fudge about Pokemon either. You would love Solo Leveling! I mean.... it's an interesting crossover...I had stories with them back in the day playing with them against each other.
That would be an awesome card back and package to keep intact. Why? It appears to be an error. You’re right Donatello should be at the top right in the collecting world that should be worth more money simply because of the error. But I could be wrong who knows.

You should get into Masters Of The Universe. This is a great crossover for both franchises. I think you would enjoy it. I would start with the Movie before the 80's cartoon then She-Ra cartoon, for better understanding. The 2002 reboot of He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe, If you want to watch The current MOTU from Kevin Smith go ahead.

1000% one of the best crossovers. Freddie Williams II has the most amazing sketchbook of his work he did for this crossover as a comic run a few years ago. Unfortunately it fell through.
Same here Masters of the universe was way before my time definitely a '90s baby but I will say this that live action movie with Dolph Lindgren playing he man was awesome was first time watching it recently and another thing I agree with you too wasn't too much of a fan of pokémon or anime btw I have that exact same shirt ma is black and not the red vintage one that you are wearing but I truly love my double dragon graphic tee 💜💜💜

I believe it is called a Mace what he holds Man at arms is the techie type of character smart and knowledgeable with weapons so good match up for Donatello. And like fans call Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TMNT MOTU is used for He-man pronounced as a word and not letters instead of Master of the universe . But I'm not a fan lol

I was introduced to He-Man in the 90's. Never grew on me. One of my earliest haircuts as a kid was some sort of bowl cut and I hated it so much that when I first saw Prince Adam rocking it I said : Hell no. This dude looks like an absolute dork! lol Even when he would beef up he still, up to this day looks CORNY as hell! Shallow reason not to like a show? maybe. But I like what I like and am picky that way. Sidenote: I hated when Adam spoke to the public always with some lame message. Too boy-scoutish. I do like corny shit but when it's meant to be corny. This show was half badass and half corny.
