It's sad that during his F1 career he mostly was painted as an aggressive Russian hot-head (stereotypes played a huge role, I guess), but I IMMENSELY enjoyed this interview. Daniil is a very genuine, funny and open person. It was clear that he said what he thought, even when topics were not that pleasant for him. Kudos to you guys for an eye-opening interview!
Shows that F1 has some humanity. Bernie would probably have filled the grid with Russian drivers and set up three back to back race weekends in Sochi just to show he can. I can’t fathom how the world can go so wrong as to listen to the “sPoRt ShUd Be FrEe FrUm PoLiTiX” crowd and start rehabilitating a country whose megalomaniacal leader has his finger on the Big Red Button, which just perpetrated the most heinous act of ecoterrorism since the bombs fell over Japan by demolishing the deliberately flooded dam on the Dnipro river and washing away farmlands, delicate nature and homes, and leaving one of the world’s largest nuclear power plants in danger of emptying its cooling ponds. If Danny “Lost My Girlfriend To A Child” Kvyat or any other russian athlete truly cared more about competing in the Olympic spirit than bringing glory to a nation doing what it’s doing to their brothers to the west they would denounce the Czarist flag and everything it stands for - no matter how patriotic they are. If you aren’t against this, you’re complicit in it - and you’d be hard pressed to call this lad squeaky clean. Not a personal friend of the living inferiority complex that is Vladimir V Putin, but you don’t get a prize for that any more than you do for not beating on your partner.
at this point he's no longer hot stuff, he's been retired from F1 for 4 years. (partially caused by the Russian attack in Ukraine leading to every world sporting commission to throw the book at Russian and Belarusian athletes, which stopped Shwartzmann also) At this point the only way he gets back to F1 is with a grid enlargement in 2026, with an 11th or 12th team wanting a skilled veteran driver who is still young. His career was dead by the time he turned 21, but he was just floating in the sport until he got fired. Now he's 30 and in WEC and Nascar Xfinity league.
Nice advice to end on Daniil. Do what you enjoy and don't live your life with other's opinions in mind. Love that this was an hour long. Great questions by the interviewers and I loved the diversity there too.
What an informative interview, loved the relaxed vibe and how the interviewers really showed how interested they were in racing. I am only new to F1 and dont know much about Daniil but now will be going back and looking at his time with F1 and also Nascar and Enduro.
I’m sure any Russian driver who burns their racing licence and denounces what is being done in their name in Ukraine would have many other countries lining up to give them a new one and be more than welcome back to any F1 team that would have them.
@@tracklimitspod I think you could have delved more into the Ferrari deal, or asked him what he thinks about the torpedo overtake, & Sainz's camp politics, which were mentioned a lot last season. but I don't mean that it's a bad episode, it's better or on par with daniels beyond the grid one for example.
I thought he did a great job in 2015 he even out scored Danny Ric by 3 points then was replace after 3 races in 2016 by Verstappen ua-cam.com/video/VvT5lDK3fVI/v-deo.html

Kvyat is a good driver. Too bad he is not in a seat right now in F1.

just a unluck driver he could be world champion being not sign in his prime is so sad
He is a good driver but in F1 we have amazing drivers , so good is just not good enough , unless you are s troll
Yes, he has/had talent and speed not like some former F1 drivers in moment 🛞🏎

Track Limits have done so well. You can tell Daniil was comfortable with them. Great questions and having the ability to not interject
Really appreciate the kind words. Daniil was awesome to interview!
Really enjoyed seeing Danil so relaxed and humorous. Top interview with a top driver.
Would like to see Daniil driving an IndyCar in the 500. I believe he would do pretty good in the IndyCar's.
Would also love to see him compete in Indy Series!
Babe wake up new kvyat content just dropped
And he definitely dropped some jaw dropping stuff 😀
Don't know why but he seems genuine .

29:00 вопрос о дочке Квята
Enjoy everyone! 🎉
It is finally out!!!
poor guy
He’s a good driver. He could still drive in f1 but they won’t let him
Daniil is a really good driver and fits in really well in all forms of racing.
I’m sure any Russian driver who burns their racing licence and denounces what is being done in their name in Ukraine would have many other countries lining up to give them a new one and be more than welcome back to any F1 team that would have them.
@@TheFinalMeowntdownhe applied for an Italian one because he lived in Italy during his career
wrong questions
Sorry about that, any questions you want to ask Daniil, we can pass it forward to him?

Great feedback! Thanks :)
Someone please make subtitles in Russian!

Imagine what he would have done with this years car? haha
Max happend
Why tf did Kyvat agree to go to American Media. They probably googled his name before the interview
He was always crashing in to other cars that's why they got rid of him
