Rare footage of one of the best Goa and Psychedelic Trance festivals the world has experienced so far. Happening for 7 days in the summer of 99 in a small town called Ozora in Hungary to celebrate the total Solar Eclipse of 1999.
Featuring Electric Universe, Shiva Shidapu, Etnica, X-Dream, Shakta, Hilight Tribe, Cosmix, Shiva Jörg, Infected Mushroom, Olli Wisdom, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Tristan and loads more.

I was there. Seminal time. Just epic. Taught me so much, including the adventure getting there. Getting robbed, pressing on, trusting people, sleeping low places to get there, showing up ill prepared, no money, no warm clothes or even a tent or sleeping bag, being cared for and experiencing the bliss of roaming on the far side of the globe. Then a week at the Rainbow Gathering. Thank you, Solipse festival for holding me.
I too had no tent or anything either! I had a similar experience minus being robbed. Im sorry that happened to you! . Such an amazing time at Solipse and in Europe that August.
Everything happened on that day: rain 🌧 storm ⛈ sun ☀️ meteor pass on the sky 🌌 and of course the total eclipse of the sun 🌞. Best festival ever, SOLIPSE !! Never forget ❤️

Ja und die Sonnenfinsternis Der Mega Hammer 👍 alles ruhig. So Festivals gibt es heutzutage nicht mehr. Wir standen bei den DJ's am Pult und haben gestampft wie die Wilden 🤪 heutzutage undenkbar.

ahhh - messy days, naked washing using the hose at the water truck and not realising my group was right opposite, Hungarian armed police preventing the organisers leaving the country before paying thier tax, a monster house truck, a horse and cart tour organised by a local entrepreneur to take local residents round the site to look at the weierdos, and the crowning event - the eclipse - silence and suddenly I am on a rock spinning in space looking at the universe in 3D. Incredible event. If you were there and met Simon from Manchester say hi - I owe someone £50 too
Nice to see this footage...takes me back...dancing through the storm...and the clouds creating so much suspense as the eclipse approached...

WOW! My first "OZORA".. Loved it.. ( and it was free for us from Ozora.. lol. )
Yeah, and the local farmers came in with free food for us. I got a bag of potatoes from a nice smiling nonenglishspeaking old man. Goooood vibes allover

I was at Koh Phangan 99/00 end nov-start of Jan, the full moon party and the milenium, Anan "resort" Chicken corner on the spot It took almost a year before i heard about Ozora and i wanted to go there the next year, 2024 still havent been there and regret it like hell.. Not 100% i like how Ozora has turned out, im more of a jungle/beach rave guy, old school i guess.. but what do i know, havent been there, looks liek people are having the time of their life so.. hm, maybe i go next summer now when i think about it

my first eclipse and my first festival, definetly life changing for me, I decided at the festival that no matter what I would go back to my GOA days in the early 90's and go back travelling after a 6 year gap due to ill health. will never forget the last track, Atmos = so nice you named it twice, in this video, as it was my favourite at the time and was played when I took my decision. Eclipses are powerful as the sun dies, goes into the void (totality) and then rebirth. You can use that energy to bury the past and resurrect, it can well be the second chance you waiting for
