Pay to win
Root riders and hero equipment have honestly ruined the game. With the equipment being a payed to win system when it first came out and just overall being too op, the game's strategies have been the same since the release of Th16. Riders, drags, lalo being the main 3. IMO there shouldn't be a hard mode. Before the release of Th16, getting 3 stars at an even Th level e.g. 15 v 15 was rewarding. Now that pros and the majority of the Clash community can spam the same attack(s) and triple with over a minute and a half left is ridiculous. The game's skill gap has become so minuscule it's not enjoyable for anyone. I've played this game from almost 10 years now and after the recent releases of unbalanced and untested troops or hero equipment, mine and many of my friends' enjoyment have began to deteriorate.
For the E-Sports, many pros have tweeted their love for the game is starting to degrade as well because every war is all about time. Nowadays they don't even need to plan hits or discuss with their team. I'm sure they do, but that's not the point.
This game WAS all about strategy back in the day (TH14 era) but now... there is none.
