    For irrigation systems on a timer, I can understand that if you leave a faucet open, then a timer can control when to send water down a hose, but where does the water go when the faucet is set to on, but the timer is set to off? Wouldn't the water still be flowing then? Thanks for any info! 08/04/2023

      Always remember to turn on the faucet after our products are installed so that the timer program will work effectively. You don't have to worry about losing water when the program is turned off. There is a water valve on the timer, as long as you set the water valve to open so that the water will flow out, and you set it to close, the water will not flow out.

      @@RainPoint My questioni was not about getting the irrigation timer to work. My question is wouldn't the water overflow somewhere if the faucet is on, but the timer is off, and the timer valve closed?

      1. First of all, the irrigation timer needs to be securely installed on the faucet (including checking whether the threads match, whether the seals and filters are installed, and the use of Teflon tape);
      2. Ensure that there is no problem with the installation, when you open the faucet, in addition to the irrigation timer manually or scheduled to open will open the valve, otherwise the valve is closed under the state of water will not overflow.
      If you have any questions about the equipment or need any help, please feel free to contact us (support@rainpointonline.com) and we will be happy to help you!

      all these water flow timers have valves inside. They're closed, shutting flow off, unless and until the timer trips according to program parameters. It's the same as having a cap on the faucet. Yes, you've turned on the flow but there's nowhere for it to go.
