This song IS the soundtrack to my life. Glee helped me the most through my toughest times and still does, but this song hits me hard. I can't help but cry to how beautiful this message is.
This song helped me a lot when I was dealing with something. It helped me realise that I am perfect the way I am and sooner or later people will accept that.

Marley is nothing like Rachel! I can't see why so many people think that. They're completely different characters; aside from the fact that Marley gets lots of the lead female vocals, they aren't similar at all. Marley is shy & quiet, Rachel was confident & loud (not in a bad way, but in an I'm-Rachel-Barbara-Berry-And-I'll-Be-Singing... way). As for the song, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I find it powerful and moving.

Darren is a part of musical group called Team Starkid, where they perfrom musicals that they write themselves. And for one of the musicals, Darren wrote a song called "Not Alone" which he sung in the musical. It was incredible! You can look them up on UA-cam, just search Team Starkid. They're Totally Awesome!!
Simple, not over-the-top. Its really a beautiful ballad. And i actually like Darren's voice in this... But Alex and Melissa are the stars of this song.
