After 7 years back here, so many memories popping up, personal life got better, world is still shit. Still feeling it totally. Humanity is full of weak people, don't join them, fight the pain, face the destruction, destroy the greed and find peace ❤

i’ve listened to this for about maybe 6 years now? i never get bored of it. although i’m not a HUGE black metal fan anymore this has stayed one of my favorites. its just really well written and unique compared to other black metal. can’t really find anything like it.
forever one of my favorites, despite how old they are for me. (started listening to them very young). many memories and much nostalgia tied to this band.

Man, its good to be back, this album has some extremely amazing layered guitar work.
Saw them once live in Bitterfeld at the Festung Bitterfeld in the lineup with Inquisition back in 2005. Most of the people just came for Inquisition. But for me the highlight of the evening was Nyktalgia. A near perfect sound and just raw and harsh black metal, directly into your face. Fell in love with their music immediately! Wtf….its nearly 20 years ago.
Jesu Christo, this brings me back. What an album, not only this one, but the entire Nyktalgia discography is great (to me).

The song Peisithanatos is just one of the best song of all time. The riffs really capture the depressive atmosphere and the torturous vocals fit so well.
Nice to hear such sounds after many many many years...
This is amazing, a true artistic manifestation of woe and pain.
I like how the first album was straight up dsbm, except of a raw nature and then this album is more like melodic trve black metal. Both great and different albums by one band. I don't even crave another release. Each song on each album has something going for it

Winterheart is still active his latest was in a band called Crypts they released a new album in 2021 called Coven of the Dead last i heard of malfeitor was in 2011 playing guitars with a band called Venenum

Their first album is depressive, this one just sounds like standard BM. Amazing nevertheless though, i’m LOVING those melodic riffs. 😮
