Despite a rocky start to his career with the Bavarians, he has emerged as a solid opton at the back and one for the future. Reliable, Quick and Dominant, he has all the qualities to be one of the defenders in the world. Upa fought hard and never gave up and has racked up several good games this year. Well done Upa.

He’s extremely underrated. He doesn’t have the best games at time but he’s generally a solid defender. He’s only 24 too so he still has a lot to learn in his game. With de Ligt leaving and Itō injured I expect him to prove his worth this season.
