This song is based on a true story of some tourists in China in a cable car which fell and several people were killed, he was a little boy and his mum and dad managed to somehow save him, but they both passed away. The writer of the song (woman) heard about this story and wrote the song from the perspective of the young boy, and eventually she adopted the boy. The story is obviously a bit longer, but that's the gist of it, hope that helps.

This performance of Dimash is stunning, jaw dropping, sooo emotional, and more. It is one of my very favorites. Dimash had performed this on the Chinese show 'I Am Singer' in 2017, but was severely ill at the time and lost his voice. He had throat injections before that painful performance and again lost his voice after it was done. It is very good and emotional and brought tears. So, when he had his 1st solo concert in Bastau he was in fine health and he did this. It is an incredible performance and his vocals are beyond words. Thank you for your reaction and words to this one! This is a true story of a mother/father/young boy on a crowded cable car. The cables broke and before the parents plunged to their deaths, they lifted their young child to safety. Han Hung, a well known Chinese singer, heard about this accident and adopted the little boy and wrote this song. Dimash knew of this and was deeply moved by it. Thank you Mike JessThe song DAYBREAK was written by HanHong based on a true story. A Cable car at a scenic spot crashed in 1999. At the moment that the cable car fell and crashed, the father used his last strength to save his 2-years-old son before he died When local rescue teams arrived at the scene, they stumbled across a child lying on top of his parents who had lost vital signs. In the city of Xingyi (Guizhou Province) the 2 year old child, Quon Yan, his father, Quon Dalei and his mother, Li Chun went on a cable car ride when an accident occurred Quon Yan was adopted by Han Hong who composed this sad and beautiful song. Dimash performed this song on "The Singer" 2017 but had a sore throat and sang on the basis of medication. In Bastau he sang in full health and gave this sublime performance. The child became a survivor according to the recollection of the person concerned, at the moment when the cable car fell, his parents tried their best to lift the child high at the last moment of their lives, and placed all their hopes of survival on the child, but they themselves passed away forever. it was the most serious cable car accident occurred in Guizhou (Maling River Scenic Area) since the founding of the People's Republic of China caused 14 deaths and 22injuries. The accident scene can be described as appalling, and the mountain road several hundred meters has long been stained red with blood. Han Hong was deeply touched by the story, and adopted that child Quon Yan

Wonderful Reaction... The Concert at Bastau: After his amazing success in the Chinese show "The Singer" the Kazakhstan Government decided to sponsor this, his first solo concert!! Around 35,000 fans came to Astana, Kazakhstan from many different countries to see this fantastic concert in 2017. This was one of his best performances of the night, Thank you!!!!

Hello there. Dimash is covering a song that is based on true facts. The child lost his parents in a cable car accident. The composer of this song was so amazed (I don't know if it's the right term) by the story of the parents rising their child to safety, that she wrote the song and later adopted the orphan. The way I see it, Dimash presented this song as if he was the young boy that was screaming the anguish he felt. I belive that the clothes Dimash is wearing resembles in some way a boy clothes. This is my 7 year old daughter's favorite song of dimash, along with stranger😊 She first listened to this one with me, the version from the singer. He was sick in that episode but he still sang this song so beautifully! And every time I put this version on my daughter asks if this was when dimash was sick 😅
This is the first Chinese song Dimash heard when he was a boy. He was very moved by the story and Han Hung the composer/songwriter who sang it originally is now his friend. Han Hung was invited to attend the Bastau concert and was in the audience as he sang her song. They are still good friends.

She was very moved by a serious accident involving a cable car that fell to the ground in 1999, which occurred in the province of Guizhou, China, with loss of human life. A child survived and she adopted him, continuing the path of her parents who sacrificed themselves saving the life of her two-year-old son on that fateful day. She composed the song from the child's perspective in which she honored her parents for their sacrifice. Es una canción muy emotiva, muchísimo más al saber que está basada en un hecho real ocurrido en China en 1999 creo, cuando un teleférico indebidamente sobre cargado de pasajeros, en su viaje de regreso se precipitó por la ladera de una montaña. Murieron 14 personas, entre ellos los padres de un niño de 2 1/2 años, que durante la caída lo sostuvieron en sus brazos para lanzarlo lejos antes de estrellarse. Ellos murieron y su hijito se salvó. Fué llevado a un orfanato, pero ése mismo año la cantante, compositora y filántropa Hang Hong ( no sé si escribí bien su nombre), conoció el hecho, adoptó al niño y escribió esa canción para honrar la memoria de sus padres. Ella precisamente fué la ganadora en 1916 del mismo concurso The Singer dónde Dimash debutó en China al año siguiente. En internet pueden verse fotos del niño, ya hoy un adolescente y su madre adoptiva. Es una triste historia con un final lo mejor posible. Hello Dears 😂 the name Bastau is a Latin translation from the Kazakh word Бастау, which means "beginning", literally Bastau is the title of his concert, in Astana, when he finished his participation in I am a Singer in China. This song was written by a famous Chinese Singer, she wrote it honouring the lifes lost in s terrible cable-car accident, where a couple saved their child from the fall dawn, but they couldn't save their own lives. Thank you Mike JessThe song DAYBREAK was written by HanHong based on a true story. A Cable car at a scenic spot crashed in 1999. At the moment that the cable car fell and crashed, the father used his last strength to save his 2-years-old son before he died When local rescue teams arrived at the scene, they stumbled across a child lying on top of his parents who had lost vital signs. In the city of Xingyi (Guizhou Province) the 2 year old child, Quon Yan, his father, Quon Dalei and his mother, Li Chun went on a cable car ride when an accident occurred Quon Yan was adopted by Han Hong who composed this sad and beautiful song. Dimash performed this song on "The Singer" 2017 but had a sore throat and sang on the basis of medication. In Bastau he sang in full health and gave this sublime performance. The child became a survivor according to the recollection of the person concerned, at the moment when the cable car fell, his parents tried their best to lift the child high at the last moment of their lives, and placed all their hopes of survival on the child, but they themselves passed away forever. it was the most serious cable car accident occurred in Guizhou (Maling River Scenic Area) since the founding of the People's Republic of China caused 14 deaths and 22injuries. The accident scene can be described as appalling, and the mountain road several hundred meters has long been stained red with blood. Han Hong was deeply touched by the story, and adopted that child Quon Yan

The composer of this song was so amazed (I don't know if it's the right term) by the story of the parents rising their child to safety, that she wrote the song and later adopted the orphan. The way I see it, Dimash presented this song as if he was the young boy that was screaming the anguish he felt. I belive that the clothes Dimash is wearing resembles in some way a boy clothes. This is the first Chinese song Dimash heard when he was a boy. He was very moved by the story and Han Hung the composer/songwriter who sang it originally is now his friend. Han Hung was invited to attend the Bastau concert and was in the audience as he sang her song. They are still good friends.

Han Hong is a renowned songwriter and singer in China. She was very moved by a serious accident involving a cable car that fell to the ground in 1999, which occurred in the province of Guizhou, China, with loss of human life. A child survived and she adopted him, continuing the path of her parents who sacrificed themselves saving the life of her two-year-old son on that fateful day. She composed the song from the child's perspective in which she honored her parents for their sacrifice. Dimash collected that story, which she had heard since she was a child, and dramatized it with her voice and humanizing spirit. Greetings from Panama.
Es una canción muy emotiva, muchísimo más al saber que está basada en un hecho real ocurrido en China en 1999 creo, cuando un teleférico indebidamente sobre cargado de pasajeros, en su viaje de regreso se precipitó por la ladera de una montaña. Murieron 14 personas, entre ellos los padres de un niño de 2 1/2 años, que durante la caída lo sostuvieron en sus brazos para lanzarlo lejos antes de estrellarse. Ellos murieron y su hijito se salvó. Fué llevado a un orfanato, pero ése mismo año la cantante, compositora y filántropa Hang Hong ( no sé si escribí bien su nombre), conoció el hecho, adoptó al niño y escribió esa canción para honrar la memoria de sus padres. Ella precisamente fué la ganadora en 1916 del mismo concurso The Singer dónde Dimash debutó en China al año siguiente. En internet pueden verse fotos del niño, ya hoy un adolescente y su madre adoptiva. Es una triste historia con un final lo mejor posible. Siempre lloro cuando oigo ésa canción, y es que la interpretación de Dimash te hace vivir ésa desgarradora historia 💖🇨🇺

The song was written by Han Hong, chinese singer/songwriter, about a cable car tragedy that happened in China. Several people died incl young parents who saved their son holding him up. Han Hong adopted the boy. You should hear her version too, she is amazing and it gives you a different perspective knowing the story and her personal involvement.

This song was written by a famous Chinese Singer, she wrote it honouring the lifes lost in s terrible cable-car accident, where a couple saved their child from the fall dawn, but they couldn't save their own lives. It's from a story that actually happened when an overloaded cable car cable breaks and most of the people crash down and the child's parents hand him up to someone who adopted the child askthem to take care of him.
