Center for Space Research 3D Geospatial Lab Drone Demonstration

This drone demonstration by UT Austin’s Center for Space Research 3D Geospatial Laboratory showcases the thermal infrared camera and drone-based LIDAR. The thermal infrared camera will be used for energy audits of buildings and environmental research related to forest structure and river habitat. The drone-based LIDAR will be used to create detailed maps and detect changes in a wide range of environmental settings.
