Bucket list for us. Sounds like a great place to experience . Paul , I love the music that complements this view. Well done guys👍 Sending you much love❤from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Hi Lynn 🤗 It would be a great place to go on a hot day….the gardens are so green and lush and you’re in constant shade and surrounded by their big pond. Yes, it was a great choice and Sarah enjoyed it every bit as much as we did ❤️
Hi Finlay, it’s really something special …the food looked too good to eat and the Chef was recently announced as Australia’s chef of the year for 2023!
Hi Julie and Steve 😊 We hope you’re settling back into the cooler weather. You came at the perfect time, it’s very dry here; we haven’t had rain for weeks. It’s also less humid too which is good but we really do need some rain. The Spirit House gardens were so green and lush, we think the staff hand water them because we couldn’t see any irrigation lines and also the majority of plants are in pots believe it or not! Such a pretty spot.
@@BethandPaultravel thanks, we’re settling back into life in the UK but I think we need to have a weeks weather swap 😀😉it’s been raining here non-stop for over 12 hours and we’re missing the sunshine😊☀Hope you get some rain though!Yes I think we did pretty much have perfect weather in Queensland - we’re really missing those lovely deep blue skies. ☀ Wow that must take them ages to hand water all those plants & it’s all so lush.
Great video , reminds me of a birthday lunch I had there a few years ago ,was a great experience then , you didn't mention the dragon lizards that would run under the table ? .
Hi Yvonne 🤗 yes, there were water dragons running around ….there were a couple of still ones in the video….but they’re not as noticeable when they stay still 😉
Gosh I realised I first visited back in 2000 (when I was living in Brisbane...such was its reputation) with all my girlfriends. It has always had such a reputation here in SE Qld, and I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't know it. Food has always been outstanding and as you rightly point out, it's an experience in itself. Thanks for sharing ❤
I've been to the Ginger Factory a few times but never been further up the road to the Spirit House. Looks devine ! thanks for introducing us to an amazing looking restaurant Beth & Paul :)
Thanks Lynn 🤗 Yes, our daughter had a break from her treatment and our son came up from Melbourne. It was great to be able to spend a couple of weeks all together ❤️ We hope that you’re keeping warm in Scotland and had a great Xmas too! Happy Hogmanay to you and your family!
nice place john is busy shaving and drying his pants off with a hair dryer again he keeps pooring his tea over himself or he whizzez around in a circle while asleep in his powered wheelchair ,i caught him just in time last night.very relaxing video
That’s such a difficult question! We love the inner city vibe of Melbourne, its cafe culture, huge variety of quality dining options, beautiful public gardens, restored architecture and excellent public transport. Melbourne also has some of the best suburban shopping strips, live theatre and it’s known for being the sporting capital of Australia. Brisbane on the other hand, for the majority of the year has a warm and sunny climate and it’s close to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Brisbane’s restaurants and shopping has improved markedly in the last 5 years. The arts precinct in Brisbane is conveniently located in one location at beautiful Southbank and Queenslanders by nature are laid-back and friendly. There are also major improvements underway for the public transport. With year-round Sunny weather, Brisbanites enjoy their outdoor lifestyle ☀️ Brisbane is also more compact with half the population of Melbourne….its very easy to walk around the CBD and even from the city to Southbank and West End. Thanks so much for watching our videos! 🤗
Hi Katrina 😊 On their website, they say they cater for vegetarian and gluten free diners. They mention that if you have any other dietary requirements, to advise them at the time of booking.

It’s totally worth it 🤗
Hello Beth and Paul. Here is hoping you are well, and soon to be back with us again. 🥂 My thoughts and prayers are with your family. 🙏🤗
Thank you so much, our daughter is currently having chemotherapy and radiation treatment ❤️
You've won me!! Certainly adding to my Bucket List. Many thanks

It's worth it, just for the walk through the grounds!
Hi David and Donna 😊Yes, the gardens made it feel more like exotic Sth East Asia than the Sunshine Coast!
@@BethandPaultravel It feels as we imagine a visit to Thailand. We were there today for a walk through the grounds! ~ highly recommended.
nice
Thanks Mehmet 😊

A beautiful dinning experience
Well I can only hope it has improved since the last time I was there. I thought it was over priced and didn’t live up to hype
We’re sorry to hear that, as you can see from our video, we had an incredible lunch and the service was spot on ❤️
