The old adaptation of Devilman crybaby was given a shonen jump release but the scenes and violence it had was over the top for shonen and same fate of threats and courtcases by school, teachers and parent unions. In 2019 Kyoto animation's Studio was burned by a person.36 burned to death and 30 serious burn victims: reason, the guy thought they had stolen his novel or like idea of a novel!

Another one of the reasons why *Araki* is one of the Greatest Mangakas out there, whenever he used to complete a Part, he went to tour for essential information regarding his next story & he's always hyped whenever he meet his fans without hiding his true identity or face 🛐

Isliye wo purposely aapnin identities ko hidden rakhte hai. Aur jab bhi ye question aata hai ki Mangaka ya fir koi bhi artists aapni identities hidden kyu rakhte hai to sabse pehle mere mann mein jo cheez aati hai vo hai "Obsessive Fans". Obsessive fans bilkul bhi dimag se paidal hote hai aur vo like aapne favourite artists se milne ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hai even unko maar bhi dete hai. Iss baat se to main bilkul agree karta hoon ki they should keep their identities hidden. Aur haan waise maine abhi ek news suni ki japan ne ek law nikala hai jisme ye mentioned hai ki saare Mangaka artists ki identities reveal ki jayegi. Kya ye sach hai? Aagar sach hai to ye Mangaka artists ke liye bahut hi insecurities create karega🤔🤔

There is also much more toxic fanbase that exist in Japan that already is infamous for targeting idols and celebrities alike. Shows like Oshi no ko and even Perfect Blue captures that side of Japan very well.

One more point is , mangakas can actually choose to keep their identity secret because a complete ecosystem exists to spread their work (their Manga) if its good & gets famous, where as where ever such ecosystems do not exist the Artists need to do all sorts of stuff to promote their creation even if they don't want to, since showing your face & personality on the internet is generally important to promote anything.

As much as I know Dr. Stone has 2 authors one who has written the entire story is Riichiro Inagaki and another one who has drawn the entire manga is Boichi and it's actually Boichi who was making hentai before making Dr. Stone not Inagaki sama. Boichi san is also known as the goat in the fandom for their drawings he has some of the best hand made drawings ever... Sun Ken Rock is a perfect example of it A Goated manga by him!
