- Iseltwald is the most beautiful Swiss village! It is located in the Berner Oberland on the shores of Lake Brienz in Switzerland. This magical village is in close vicinity of Interlaken and Brienz in the Jungfrau Region in the Swiss Alps. Iseltwald is popular for its breathtaking views as well as traditional Swiss houses called chalets.
You can access Iseltwald by car, bus or day cruise on Lake Brienz. If you come by ship, you will admire the turquoise water and amazing scenery.
The residents of Iseltwald take pride in decoration the village with flowers so the unique character is emphasised. Iseltwald is the perfect village to relax and let your thoughts fly before continuing your trip in Switzerland.

Petite rectification : ce charmant village se trouve au bord du lac de Thoune ( Thun en allemand ) et non au bord du lac de Brienz !

Ранее это была нищая и богом забытая рыбацкая деревушка. Даже дороги туда не было, всё по озеру. Есть легенда, что Лукич там жил и что-то писал. Жил там из экономии средств, а про что писал и кому не известно.
Сейчас деревенька расцвела и заколосилась. Может нашли зарытую кассу Лукича или инвесторы из СНГ подсобили, хз...
Известно, что лет 10 назад прикупили там новодельные апартаменты некие господа из Ростовводоканала (кажется). Обитали там их мадамы с детьми. Однако господ из мужеского полу кровавый режЫм таки взял за фаберже и отправил на кичу за воровство. Прокуратура РФ подала запрос на арест активов фигурантов и швайцы их заморозили. Мадамы в крик и к адвокатам за статусом азюлянтов. Адвокаты натурально послали их лесом, т.к. бесплатно тут никто даже не пукнет. Шо таки в конце стало с новыми нищебродами история умалчивает. Однако в Швейцарии возраст согласия наступает с 16 лет и можно зарегистрироваться как ИЧП, и заниматься легально проституцией.) Не пропадут мадамы...
П.С. А позиции у этой деревни дрянь. Строго на север. Солнце есть только к вечеру. А зимой его в домах вообще нет, т.к. его перекрывают горы. Так и живут со светом весь день и оплачивают конские счета за эл-во.

Absolutely not! What is nice in this village? The rotten castle that you cannot enter or walk around? Nice or typical swiss old houses, other swiss culture or history? Nice restaurants near the lake or a cool bar? Not at all. Just nothing! Mostly old and badly maintained houses with mess and clutter in their backyards everywhere. And be aware, there is a loud highway nearby. No idea why Iseltwald should be a nice village…
