How To Repair Shrink Covering on an RC Plane

When I put my Hobby King Crusader [Ugly Stik] together, I put an iron on one of the ailerons to tighten the shrink covering and it pulled away from the edge. This video shows how to conduct a shrink covering repair.

I’ve been flying and building balsa RC planes for 36 years and in my experience monocote covering is the hardest to work with and to get wrinkles out of. It also usually isn’t a good idea to mix different brands of covering on the same surfaces as the different brands shrink at different temperatures causing more challenges. I enjoyed this video, good job.
