Fountain means sunshine 👍. I’m going to concentrate more on daffodils next season I’m tired of things eating my tulips 🌷. Looking lovely Hugh, have a fab weekend Judith and Smudge too, Ali ☔️☔️🇨🇦

Thanks for stopping by Ali, yes the dwarf daffodils in pots are smashing doers, although we did buy some ready growing Tulips for some flower succession once the Narcissus finish. Hope you guys have a lovely weekend there, Hugh 😊👍🏻🌱🥕

That's very interesting. My snowdrops have those little seed heads on them also. So, can I pluck them off and actually use them to get seedlings??? What then? Do I just feed the pots and leave them for next year? My muscari had become a tad invasive in the ground - so many of them they didn't flower -so I dug them up and separated them. Was that wise??? I've all the questions today. I'm quite fond of my elderly lavender plant - she gets hectic and beautiful in summer. Your car!!! That's low!

Hi there, the seed heads on the snowdrop have to mature first before seed are harvested, then sow. They'll probably take about three years before they reach flowering size, although would have to read up on them first. Yes, I prefer the Muscari in pots, stops the invasions happening - unless it's an area of ground that can be spared. The Muscari bulbs that are smaller may need a year or two to get to flower producing size, typically I divide the clumps into two or three pots. Yes, Lavender plants are wonderful, although they do get old after a number of years. Removing old flower stems cleans them up a little. All the best there, Hugh 🌱🌱👍🏻👍🏻
