Hi Stuart Great vid . We also have a 56 plate stardream and tbh we find the water system superb. We've rarely had to use an aquaroll as the large onboard tank is usually sufficient. Personally we love the big proper shower and we use it alot. The only problem we have found is the grey water seem to fill up quickly. Oh and the underslung step has bottomed out on speed humps a couple of times we've had ours since 08 and had 6k on the clock weve now done 38k and we love it.
We are looking at one of these could I ask if yours is different to that on this video do you have an external water filling point you can put a standard hose in? And you have the option of using the aquarolll?
Hi OBW. Yes we have an external fresh water fill point. The connection also houses contacts to enable the use of a external pump for the aqua roll. Hope this helps
@@LooLooRacerthanks for reply, can you leave the hose permanently connected and turned on or does the internal tank fill and then overflow at which point you have to turn the tap off?
@@offbeatwarble yes if we run on the aquaroll we leave the immersable pump connected. You then need to select “external pump” on the main control panel then when you open a tap it should run the external aquaroll pump instead of the onboard pump
Hi Stuart! Thanks for the vid - great stuff. Big question - I CANNOT work out the electrical system. I can't tell the difference between the one by the door and the one in the corner. I never understand how to switch (or if I have to switch) between mains and leisure battery, or if it can tell all by itself. I'm terrified of running out of battery so will only go to sites with hook up. I'm flying by the seat of my pants when it comes to heating water etc. and I have no idea what works on leisure battery and what doesn't. The combitronic system is a complete dark mystery. I press all the buttons and hope for the best. Is there a basic manual on how on earth it all works?
The panel in the corner under the wine cabinet is for the combitronic heater / hot water system. The one near the door is for onboard water management and the electrical charging system
