I followed the tutorial with a different texture for a wolf fur, my issue is when mine renders out it comes out as pixel squares for each hair, so I would have one hair have like 8 different pixel squares instead of it looking like fur. Any thoughts on what the issue is?
Mayas internal fur was never really usefull you had to have the UV's pointing all in the same direction to have the fur look cohesive, when I was at Fullsail my professors said it was nearly impossible. I wanted to have a Grizzly bear for my demo reel with fur I had to abandon that concept and just model it. Thanks for the video though.

+Fallen Patch I think you have to increase your sub segments/ the subdivision of the fur.
