I'm sure im not the first and I literally just found her, but her cosplay doesn't just look like a fan dressed up, she literally looks like almost every character she does, male or female. Its insane how she morphs her face so well.. i guess its mostly in the makeup? I'd almost wanna say its done in post but thats both disrespectful and sort of a compliment to her skills

Alyson, I just LOVE watching your tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing your process with us! Could you do a Vincent Valentine tutorial too? In a 2017 IG post you mentioned that you recorded a makeup tutorial but I haven't been able to find it :( I would love to hear you talk about your 2008 cosplay of him as well, if there were any mistakes/less effective techniques you used back then and how you've honed your craft since!

Another great Mehron product for creating scars is Rigid Collodion. It shrinks as it dries causing the skin to sink in on its own creating a more realistic looking scar. It's a lot easier and quicker to apply and remove than wax and it can be painted under and over really easily. It dries out really quickly once it's been opened so it's best to buy it when you want to use it and also the fumes are very strong so be ready for that.
Yeah that stuff is awesome! Thanks for suggesting it for those that might be interested and the extra info! I wanted to use the wax cause my cheeks are already so narrow i wanted to make them appear wider. 😁
Just putting it out there, but if you have sensitive skin or are just prone to allergies, rigid collodion might not be your best friend.
I used it a while back and even though I followed the instructions perfectly when applying and removing, it hurt. The area was sore for a few days and looked a bit red and I was kind of stressing over it as it seemed like it had done permanent damage.
It luckily didn't, but it scared me from ever using it again:p so be careful🙂

I am really impressed with you! I'm planning the Nurse Joker cosplay for Dragon Con this year and I'm using this tutorial for the makeup. I only had one question, after applying the makeup did you apply a makeup setter?
