It's easy to feel stagnant sometimes in this field, but look back at what you knew 6 months ago, a year ago, 3 years ago, compared to what you know now. Most knowledge (and more importantly, the wisdom of where and when to apply it or not!) is acquired in little increments over the course of your career and the way they add up is sneaky, you don't even notice. Give yourself some more credit for this. And remember that what seems intimidating now will feel super easy soon enough-- just like everything else you've learned and built upon felt like at first. And a little aside: instead of directly copy&pasting from SO, try re-typing it-- helps you understand what's going on a little better and retain the information more in case you have to apply it again somewhere else!
Some time ago, my mom got me convinced that I can’t talk french even though it’s my native language, and that demotivates me to do any french homework. But I listened to that playlist, looked at all these nice english comments and now I feel better about my English because I can understand them all! I have also found a new way of working, instead of writing the answers in french, I write them in english to train my translation! It may seem strange, but it's true there's an straight correlation between music and memory. When I write code I tend to forget stuff and become blank, but low-frequency instrumentals have improved on how I process my thoughts when coding. When I hear a song I've wrote code with, it instantly remembers me of what I was doing.
