    Good technique tutorial here. I've been messing around with this for years until I heard Grissom, and it opened things up for me. Now it sets my playing apart from others. Fretting the low E string and playing the octave upis also an important part of this.

    This is one way Billy sounds so full for a three piece. He plays licks like that in between his awesome tasty leads and it sounds so smokin great...

    Cool af. My first love was tuning the guitar and sliding the string under to make harmony. I'd just do that for hours and that was it. Still wasn't in tune. 😀

      That's the Steeler with the 4x12 basket weave and the 57 mic.
