Thanks so much, really appreciate it. Yeah, this was definitely one of my favourite scapes. But I think Fridays upcoming video might have turned out even better! 🥳🥳

Yes, the energy is well spent. I had the same idea as you, in the end I managed to create a biotope, but it did not last long. The driftwood that was mined in that environment had to be thrown away. However, fish and plants remained.
Hiya, thanks for watching. So initially I think the female was far too young so I had to separate them as she was getting far too much unwanted and aggressive attention. But now that she has fattened up and returned to the tank, she manages him much better and proper breeding rituals are happening and he's not aggressive at all, a very placid fish. 👍
Hey, glad you liked the video! These particular roots are from AquaOne. They are Azalea roots and packaged as a "100g Aquascaping Pack". My local fish shop, Newport Aquatics, stocks them, but I've also seen them online in a few places like Swell and Pro Shrimp. I always try and support the LFS if I can! 👍
Funny you should say that, I was literally thinking about this yesterday. Afraid I don't have anything at the moment, but as the channel grows I will definitley consider it. Not clear there is quite enough interest just yet....
Nice to have you back owain. 👍
Thanks so much. Really excited to be back in action too! 👍
I see you are also using Chichiros AII. Best low tech, low light, low price light on the market. The tank looks amazing 👏
Love your content. Take care of the back Buddy
Thanks so much, that's really kind. Almost there with the back I hope, just gota crack on with the editing now!
So cool, been binge watching your content, a real underrated fishtuber haha

Glad you liked the video. Did you have any success breeding these fish? I'd be so happy if that happens!
@@AquariumShed Some fish and plants still live. In the summer I plan to make another biotope, but from a different neighborhood.
Nicely done video, the scape came out great and those cichlids are gorgeous. I'm even interested in them, never seen them before. Very interesting.
They truly are a fascinating fish. Apart from the first ten weeks of hiding that is..... 🤣
LOL! I like your style blood. Please do a update.
For the zerg overmind 😂😂😂😂🎉🎉
Terran Dominion 😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
Beautiful. What’s the aggression level like for these guys?

Looks great! Where did you procure the spindly roots? I'd like to use them for my own project!

Did you put in root tabs in the sand for the marsilea hirsuta to carpet?
Yeah, I used 6 JBL root tabs! 👍
Zerg swarm 😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
❤😊👍
Glad you liked it, thanks so much for watching!
What brand of sand did you use for this scape?
Cheers
Ha. Really should have mentioned this. It was B&Qs finest children's play pit sand!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 looks good to be fair
Absolutely. Plus, the added benefit of play pit sand is its much cleaner and doesn't leave any sediment in the water column! Everyone's a winner! 👍
