Take your crepe paper bouquets from paper to perfect by learning how to make realistic leaves to compliment your paper flowers.
In this video I will teach you how to make the Baby Blue Eucalyptus, the Willow Eucalyptus, the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, an Olive branch, and a variegated leaf branch.
This video is for beginners! You don't need to know much about crepe paper flowers in order to make these leaves.
This video is made by Everflower: / elanoire
Materials list:
180g italian crepe paper in greens, blues and browns, or crepe doublette.
18, 22 or 26 gauge wire (different for different leaves
Glue or adhesive for laminating crepe paper together (optional)
Tacky Glue
Preparing the leaves
In this video, I use specially prepared crepe paper. I would recommend you do the same for the best results! You will need to cut strips of 180g crepe paper and stretch it as far as you can, then laminate. I used iron on fusible interfacing to do this for the video. If you aren't able to laminate your paper, you can use doublette or use 180g crepe paper.
Leaf templates
I have prepared detailed instructions and templates for almost all of the leaves in this video. The top of the description has the link.
