Right. One night I was on the phone and my grandma came to my room and told me good night and she loved me. Like always. I said it back and he heard us. When I got back on the phone he said something along the lines of him being surprised. As if it wasn’t normal to do that. I was like wow.
Meanwhile I'm here thinking my mom trying to kill me and being emotionally and physically abusive was totally normal until I ended up in therapy because she wanted the therapist to "fix my brain" 🗿
