Can we just stop and appreciate Travis for his off-hand mighty ducks knowledge? Pulling Gordon Bombay out of nowhere, really hit me.

The reveal after 16:47 is the hardest I’ve ever laughed at a MBMBaM episode

It kills me that they didn't mention the fact that at the end someone cusses out the evil basketball team and it gets bleeped out and never acknowledged

It's actually not weird at all that they fictionalized Le Bron's kids. Or, if it is weird, it's common weird. That's often done when a famous person is playing themselves in a fictional story. Remember New Nightmare, with Heather Langenkamp? She is married to an SFX artist and has a kid (maybe more than one by now, I don't try to find those things out) in real life, but when she was playing herself in a horror movie, her non-famous husband and kid were not roped in. Instead, they made up a little boy for Freddy to hunt and made up a guy for Freddy to kill. I get a general feeling that it's more polite to leave the family's real names out of it, especially when they're kids. Even for all the lines they will cross, even the South Park boys tend to fictionalize a celebrity's kids instead of lambast a real child.

They literally did the same thing in the original Space Jam

I really thought this bit was a prank by justin and griffin on their brother about making up the wildest stuff they could about the movie (i have not seen it), but now reading the comments im not so sure

Just from googling it for 15 seconds I can see what looks like the wacky non-murder joker is actually in the crowd.

The 500-600 run wasn't stellar, but this was one of the highlights for me.

At least we got War with Grandpa Watch out of that era

It was really self aware about the downturn too. The last portion at least had a mini renaissance of Justin trying to get more questions answered…but also simultaneously doubling down on munch squad. I think it’s safe to say the fandom isn’t upset about justin doing bits, but we’re tired of mundane munch squads about routine press releases from fast food restaurants.

Huh, I didn't realise people felt that way about it... I guess the episodes are up-and-down occasionally but there are so many great ones in that run too. I think people tend to idolise older eras, because they look back at the highlight reel of bangers, but there's hit and miss episodes going all the way back. Oh well, maybe it's just a personal taste thing. I'm someone who enjoys the segments/bits as much as the questions, so I guess if you're only there for questions there have been fewer of those... but I've still been getting very regular laughs from the show!

@@vancearama I can understand that, but Munch Squad is my absolute favorite bit. I don’t care what it is or if it’s good, I will listen and relisten to those bits forever.

I need to know for scientific reasons the amount of drugs that everyone involved in production were on, because it has to be......so many drugs...........
