- UDPB: It's always great talking to TimMccreadie about state of the sport things, and this one is no different.
He says the super late model division is the NASCAR Cup Series of dirt racing, stick signals don't matter, and drivers need more money deeper into the field:
TMAC is just a great dude and a voice of reason.
Tim tells it like it is and he is absolutely right about the payout needing to be better through the other finishing positions besides 1st place and even better start money would help out a lot, considering how the price of everything seems to continually keep going up
Well spoken and 1 of my favorite Late Model Stock Car Driver's - Tim McCreadie.
I love Tim. Been a huge fan of his all the way back to when he was “just Bobs kid”. A serious racers racer.
Upstate New York fan here, loves TMac.
I have had the pleasure of working with many drivers in many series Tim is the most honest and dedicated driver there is.
With that much Evidence/Proof, you should be the Official Spokesperson, for Christianity.
One of my favorite drivers.
Great interview!
Great interview! T Mac..a man of the people.
Preach it Tim! I have been saying what Tim said on the purses for 30 years .because at the showme 100 in 1994 pays better then any $50,000 race pays to win today and to start. In 94 payed 30,000 to win and 3,000 to start they averaged over a 100 cars a show. The showme 100 still to this day does not pay what the Gibbons payed when they ran the showme 100. Dolly pardon purses are not good for the long term health of the sport. AND I HAVE THE PROOF
I have to agree banning sticks ain’t gonna do a ton theres alot of other things telling the driver information it ain’t just the stick guy. To add to that the stick guy ain’t banned just the sticks and we did it for years with just bright colored gloves or similar and eldora specifically said that is still 100% legal.
Yea hes right. Out in Oregon we get $150 to start our late model races 😂
It seems to me, a guy that watches racing on TV and UA-cam, that the guys with the torquey high horsepower engines are winning and that there is a difference between engines built by the same builder. Tim is a great driver and he'll get it figured out by the end of the season and the regular "suspects" will be there at the end.
It's hard to get a car setup when your on the run all the time!. Good luck T MAC!.
Give em Hell Timmy
Realest racer in the pits
To be honest I don't see how the drivers can pay attention to them stick holders I know when I raced and I raced a lot slower tires and what these guys are running I wouldn't be attempting to try and focus on something like that I always focus on my driving in passing
I'm a bigger T Mac fan after this interview.
There is a lot of fast guys out there and you can only go so fast on any given track
HOW DO THEY LET YOU DRIVE A RACE CAR BAREFOOT ???
TIM = HOW ABOUT RT 250 / FAIRPORT NY / NORTH OF ATLANTIC AVE / WHERE IS YOUR CAR NOW
Tim McCreadie is right. The sprint car guys are jealous of late models.
Absolutely!!!!
@@cumminsrealpower680 It's the sprint car fans/racers that have really turned "stick signaling" in late models into a hot topic. I always find it head scratching that sprint car guys in recent years like to voice their opinion on late model racing and they usually take shots at it. Meanwhile late model guys the vast majority of the time say nothing but nice things about sprint cars.
@@kyleolson279 Exactly right. I have absolutely nothing against sprint cars.... It's just not my cup of tea.
teams have to quit spending 10's of thousands on shocks, 100's of thousands on engines/chassis---they did it to them selves---fancy hauler
In other words stop investing in things you get a return on lol. Zero logic in what you said.
Put them on oil shocks 95 In the Front , 94 in the rear, you will have better race and you wo6nt need all those big motors. Because you can't hook them up and it puts the driver back in charge not the slot car
Tmac
Relax. He’s Tmac. He’s fine.🏳️🏁🇺🇸
Somewhere in this video the experts must all agree that Ross Chastain is to blame for something!
Horrible sound
