Those of you saying he's not a right back seem to forget Alphonso davies was an out and out winger when hansi flick converted him to a right back, if someone had shown you his defensive numbers at the time, I'm sure you would all call flick a mad man for playing a winger as a left back..but the thing about davies and frimpong is they have so much pace that they are going to win most of their defensive duels because not a lot of wingers in world football can take on those guys one on one so im not worried about him defensively.. besides his attacking quality I'm sure flick also wants him for the fact that having him, balde, Araujo and kounde in you defense offers you so much recovery speed , especially with the high line flick likes to play..so guys relax and LET FLICK COOK

Kevin, the hack is in midfield, both Xavi and Flick use the 3:2:5 formation when attacking but flick arrives at this with movements... The CDM in bayerns case kimmich would drop to defence and then someone else especially Mueller would drop to kimmich's former role. Unlike Xavi flick's system requires a lot of movement and players making their own decisions. Just like ancelotti allow he allows his players freedom.

Frimpong has a clause i think in the 30-40m range so it's very achievable but Barcelona needs to act first cause he's openly stated he's a Man UTD fan and wouldn't mind moving there and Man UTD are looking for a right back Ten Hag is a very big fan of him he actually wanted him even last season.

Perhaps he plans on changing the system and play a 3-4-2-1 or sth. But we won't be talking about it if he felt kounde was enough to cover the rb for next season. There'll be a lot more games next season with the change in the game structure and we'll be needing more quality players across the board. Having this kinda option too can't hurt
