@@nettegaines2067 Because in the books, Eloise didn’t have any scandals and was very much into the gossip of the ton like the other ladies. She also would spend hours upon hours writing correspondence - moreso than most - and as such had ink stained hands throughout this book in particular

No he won't be. Luke Newton confirmed that in a scene where he was supposed to be angry, he just teared up instead and the Director decided to go with the improvised version instead. Show Colin is far, far better than the Book One.
However, considering the era, Book Colin is the more realistic one. (But Eff that !)

Has anyone else ever wondered why they aren't allowed to look directly at the camera? I always found it dumb the way they intentionally avoid the camera even when they are supposed to "look at the audience".... In day to day life you would expect people to look at you when they speak with you, and not study that lovely painting behind your back...

Getting back to Colin, after the anger, comes the carriage ride! Shonda made sure it is MUCH steamier than the book.

This "glow up" is not for me. I really liked him with more weight, he looked healthier.
I admit, I also missed the little bit of baby fat he had, but weight loss or gain can result in dramatic changes that some just need time to adjust to.
For example, I watched a turkish series I ended up really enjoying and stumbled on another series that the male lead did earlier in his career. He was way skinner, pre bulking era. I was so shocked and thought he looked too skinny, preferred the sturdier version 😅. But after some time, I got used to the skinnier version and ended up realizing that he wasnt too skinny back then, it was just the dramatic shift that caught me off guard. I even started wondering why he chose to bulk up in the first place because he was perfectly fine to begin with, but apparently he had aspirations of becoming an action star and felt he needed to get bigger. All the superhero action stars seem to follow a similar path.
In Luke's case, I personally didn't like the sideburns they give him in S3. I'm guessing it's meant to highlight his cheekbones, but the weight-loss already achieves that so it ends up making him look a little skeletal at times.
Regardless, from the interviews, I know how proud he is of his physical transformation, as he should be. That's not an easy thing to achieve and sideburns aside, I think he looks great. He's also expressed interest in pursuing more active roles and as long as he's being safe about the body type he's trying to acheive, I wish him all the best.
Lastly, I think we should be more mindful of how we talk about someone's physical appearance, man or woman. As long as they love how they look, our opinions are irrelevant.

The show has always intended for each sibling to be the lead in one season and supporting characters in the rest. Anthony was never going to be the lead character in every season.
