Laia still a unit of all time, i founded some combo with certain rarely used caracters.
Diene is one of those, she cycle your team crazy by S2 then S3 anticrit Atk buff for 3 turn and push to 80 Cr with Mgr Tome
Light achates also can do some crazy combo, she can Cut your opponent to push Laia for example, that recycle her S2 and if her S3 need emergency at start, she can be cycle with laia.
Djb would be the Anticleave better winner, i dont have him, his S2 cycle so well with laia.
So laia just enable supports also more than expected 🤣

Azallea they've been using ELO for match making since like warcraft 3 bro - it's not new
I know that. They've changed the algorithm a few times in E7 though.
I think the algorithm is fine, with winrate and all. it kinda helps people that are performing well in climbing faster,since winning against like emperor yields moee points,and for those that truly can't beat emperor, losing doesn't lower points by that much as well.
tho honestly,what do i know, I don't play rta. (i do play chess with simmilar elo system tho,doe really not as complicated maybe, but you do get matched with players 200+ elo higher than you sometimes,either cuz theres just no one playing or the so called algorithms) i understand the frustration when you just wanna play around and have fun tho
They've been tweaking the algorithm every few seasons. It's better than it was, for sure. The number of players will definitely impact it, yeah. I've played against Top 200 players while in low/mid Champion before (before they started hiding ranks in matchmaking). Sometimes you just wanna have a bit of fun, y'know.

If there's one unit I fear when it comes to RNG. It's Choux. When I fight them, it feels like a 100% fwoosh proc rate. With a bunch of elbris counters sprinkled in. Landy is annoying, but she at least takes time to ramp up. Choux can start digging graves out the gate. Even though that last game was a bunch of fire units. Was still a prime example of that fear.
That fear is something that never goes away too. Veterans will remember the sheer terror that Charles caused back in the day. Choux is just PTSD at this point. LOL

I feel that. I used to get so stressed out from RTA. Nowadays it's just part of a daily routine!
