- Nostalgia! I'm thinking on making a series about it since I never did one in the channel
I was waiting for the "NB23" update, but it seems it got cancelled unfortunately, and we got this small update instead.
Let me know if you would like more videos about it :)
Oh btw, for some reason I wasn't able to get into Suic1d3 zone playing normally, and the game was just closing after the "I am god" scene, so I had no choice but using the level select code to get into it.
Idk if I'm doing something wrong or anything - There's a chance that Jaiz changed the way to get into it, but I asked a friend to try it, and he said he was getting into the level just fine.
Anyway, I thought it would be important to mention this in case the video look "inconsistent" somehow

Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning" is a sonic.exe inspired platformer game (now outdated and not part of the canonical NU story)
In this game you can repeat the original outcome of the characters from "Sonic.exe the Game" creepypasta game or you can try to find a way and save the characters from their horrific fate. It all depends on your choice and fighting spirit!

I miss watching this fangame, and it's a little different, but nothing that changes my taste (maybe the voice of the exetior, but that's still good)
Gonna be honest, Exetior's voice being high quality in this update caught me off guard, quite uncanny
Watching this made me realise...this game really hasn't aged well. While watching, i just kept thinking "did it always look this bad?"
At least NB23 (25 now ig) has materialised, i thought it was never coming out
I honestly think the graphics are as they should be. I never really liked how most Sonic.EXE games try to stray away from the artstyle of the original Sonic games.
@hunlepto2239 i think the artstyle is fine. My issue is moreso the presentation of the game. Looking at it now, it really gives off the "old gamemaker exe game" vibe in a way it never did before (to me, at least). Stuff like the backgrounds, FOV, and just how empty some levels feel. I think SOH aged better than NB.
To be fair, i always did view this game with a huge nostalgia bias, whereas this time i kinda took off the rose-tinted glasses because it was an update, so i expected some kind of revamp.

Good, but there is something that the game has been developed in some way after a long mod and the developer did something after expanding it and then changed something, but I regret playing and regretting. The shape and character did not change and I do not see it. There is a change in the story, meaning two characters of the game, it remains like this according to the developer that did not change or be different. On an old copy of mine, he does not think that it is a change and says that the old is better than the new

@@domovoi2861 Only Dialogue has changed, I mean it's been reworded, and the sprites have changed just a little bit, so yeah, very slight and weak changes, to the point that if it wasn't written as an update, we would have been unaware that it was a new update at all.ಠ_ಠ

NBR is still in development. SunFIRE said that NB23 (old NB but better) has got cancelled.
NBR will eventually release, don't worry. Jaiz said we'd get FN this year. He also said that NBR will release after FN so my prediction is that NBR will release either in 2026 or in the worst case 2027.
