  • HUSH were an Australian band in the late 1970's. This documentary shows how poorly they treated their road crew. Whilst the band had groupies, grog and chinese banquets the roadies has $2 at the fish and chips shop and worked for $1 an hour.

The fans only paid a lousy $4.00 each to see the gig. I'm more fascinated in the Road Crew who carried on a job unseen or appreciated by the fans or those present at the shows because their hard work is never seen. These road crew guys and the band received virtually nothing for all their work compared to what they should have been paid.
